It's an early Saturday morning, Y/n wakes up from the usual nightmares he had about Makima. He looks around the room and takes a deep breath...
Y/n: *sighs* "Why she always in my head...?"
He gets out of bed and takes a shower, looking horrified. All he could remember from that dream was her face staring into his soul:

After Y/n got out of the shower, he heads downstairs and see's Yukari and Junpei sitting on the couch waiting for him. They greet him, but he doesn't say anything back. He just sits on the couch just staring into space.
Junpei: "Hey, Y/n. You okay, man? You look like you seen a ghost."
Y/n: "Just a bad dream..."
Junpei: *raises an eyebrow* "If you say so."
Yukari: "Well anyways, Makima-sensei said we're going to be hunting our first devils today, right?"
Junpei: "Yeah! We're about to kick some a** again! I'm already pumped for this!"
Y/n: "Cool..."
Just as they were talking, Makima enters the dorms with her usual smile, with coffee in her hand. She sat down next to Y/n and spoke.
Makima: "So, are you all ready for your first assignment?"
Yukari: "Yes, Makima-sensei."
Junpei: "You bet!"
Y/n: "Same here."
Makima: "Good. But before we get to that, there's something we should discuss first."
Yukari: "What is it, Makima-sensei?"
Makima: "There's a specific Devil that we're after, the Gun Devil... Gun violence happened quite a few times. But then there was an attack on America that happened back in 2001 which made people fear guns, creating the Gun Devil. This Devil had killed millions in a single second."
Hearing this made the three perk up. Makima then pulls out a box of flesh in the shape of bullets, they stuck together like magnets.
Makima: "We only have a few pieces of the Gun Devil's flesh. America has the most of the Gun Devil's flesh. Right now we're focused on finding more gun flesh."
Junpei: "So we just need to find a few pieces of this Devil's flesh?"
Makima: "Correct, Iori-kun. But there's a Devil you three need to kill first. This one has been spotted in a hotel where people have gone missing, nothing is known about the status of the hotel guests. But a few Devil Hunters that went in were found dead."
Junpei: "Damn..."
Makima: "That's why I'm assigning you three to work with actual Devil Hunters on this mission."
Junpei: "All three of us aren't enough?"
Makima: "Sorry, no... Sure, you may have been impressive in Tartarus, but this is different. You could actually end up dead on this mention. These Devil Hunters I'm assigning you to are more experienced."
