What Happened To Us?

First Day...

Aghh I’m soooo nervous I start school tomorrow and well I make friends perfectly fine but it might take a while but I know I will soon enough. Dang, it’s already 9 O’clock I should probably go to bed now…..Yes I go to bed at 9, don’t judge me!!!

DREAM

“Where am I?” I thought to myself looking around a room it didn’t really seem familiar. ”You finally got here!!” I heard a voice that sounded calm but dangerous at the same time. I felt like I knew the confusing voice, but when I went to follow the voice all that was there was a picture of a boy. I couldn’t quite figure who the boy was. Suddenly the picture went up into flames and I found myself in yet another unfamiliar place.

“I missed you so much!!” I turned to find the boy whose picture burnt up

“Do I know you?” I asked with awkwardness in my voice

“You don’t remember? Well maybe this will remind you.” Unexpectedly Kids In Love by Mayday Parade came on. That was the song me and Drew used to blast all the time in 7th grade whenever he visited me on the weekend.

END OF DREAM

Once the song was over I woke up, it was 6 in the morning…school doesn’t start till 8:30, looks like I have 2 hours to get ready.

Hmmm what should I wear today?? Oh I know I’ll wear my Pierce The Veil shirt and my blue ripped skinny jeans!!

2 HOURS LATER

  That morning all I listened to was Kids In Love, that was such an odd dream. Maybe it means something….Nahh it was just a dream.

I glanced over to the clock which said 7:59 A.M. DANG!! I should probably leave now

“MOOOOOOMMMM!!!! I’M GONNNAAA BE LATE LET’S GOOOO!” I hollered at my mom while almost falling down the stairs. Well this is gonna be an interesting car ride considering my brothers friend Nate is coming with us to drop me off. Oh and if your wondering why he’s coming it’s because they start school in 2 weeks, I know they’re lucky.

We all Jumped into the car and I started blasting The Jonas Brother, I don’t understand why people don’t like them anymore they’re still the bomb!!

Aghh we finally pulled up in the Terra Nova parking lot,

“Have a nice first day Amber Lynn.” My mom said while almost being cut off with my brother jumping over the seats to get to shot gun. I swear my family has issues.

I walked into the large school building, there are tons of kids here its kinda intimidating. Of course the first thing I look for are the attractive people. I guess those twin brothers are kinda cute, but there is also that tall blonde boy with green eyes. He reminds me of that little girl in my kindergarten class. I noticed I couple kids with blood shot eyes and some with braces and glasses. Everyone seemed so different from each other here, I felt the most different with my colorful clothes and pink hair. But I guess everyone feels different on their first day of a new school. So as confused as I was I decided that I should go to the office and ask for some help to get to my classes.

“Hi, My name is Amber Lynn Anderson, I’m new here so I don’t really know what classes I’m in.” I asked the receptionist who looked very annoyed.

“Okay let me find your schedule.”

That was such an awkward moment, out of no where the tall blonde boy showed up.

“Okay here is your schedule, and this is Kyle, he has all of the same classes as you so he’ll be helping you out today.” I turned to the boy named Kyle who had a smile on his face while waving to I thought it would be polite to wave back. We made our way out of the office.

“So you know my name may I ask what yours is?” Kyle asked

“Oh! My name is Amber Lynn.”

“That’s such a pretty name, I love your hair by the way!”

“Thanks”

“Oh this is our English class.”

I couldn’t wait for this class I love English, I think I like it so much is cause its one of the only things I’m good at…
