I kept thinking about Rodger’s friend Drew and the Drew I used to know, I highly doubt that they’re the same people. The Drew I knew left and never came back, and the Drew he knows spent his sophomore year somewhere else, not in Pacifica. But still I couldn’t shake the idea of this new kid.

My mother dropped me off at school and I started the day off like any other person would, my day didn’t start getting weird until history started. Since I was in the advanced history class, we didn’t get many new kids, that’s why I was surprised when he walked in. A tallish boy, about Rick’s height, walked in, he had side swept bangs and you could tell that that was his natural black hair and his eyes, from far away they looked purple-ish green but up close they were the prettiest shade of green. He was skinny and had long arms, he kind of looked like a younger Christofer Drew with darker hair. You would think that all of the girls would be head over heels for this kid but they all were too focused on Justin and Rick. Why do I keep forgetting that those guys are in most of my classes. I wasn’t the only one excited to see a new kid, when Justin and Rick saw him they started going crazy and I think I saw Rick send a text to someone I just don’t understand what was so important about his kid. The teacher finally made all of the students confusion disappeared by simply introducing the new kid.

“Okay students, for those of you that don’t know him, this is Drew.” The teacher stated while Drew stood there looking cool and making face behind the teachers back when he turned around“ You may take the empty desk by Justin and Rick.”

For the rest of the period I couldn’t concentrate with Rick, Justin, and the new kid Drew, laughing behind me. If my B+ in history goes down because of them I will kill them…. That sounds a little harsh, but that doesn’t mean I won’t. After history, I tried to take my daily nap in math, but DREEEEW was corrupting Seth so I couldn’t sleep. This kid may be attractive but he needs to learn that I need my sleep.

“psssttt Amberrrr,” Seth said in a hushed voice…I don’t know why he’s whispering we’re in the dumb math class and we can pretty much do whatever we want “ this is Drew, he’s awesome can he eat lunch with us?”

“Actually, Seth, I’m going to eat lunch with some of my friends.” Drew said just a little too not disappointed. I’m not sure if he really wanted to eat lunch with us. 

“Oh sorry Seth, he has to eat with his friends.” How I sounded really repetitive for some reason. Well after math we have lunch sooo I guess I’ll go find Aria. I just realized that she’s in the advanced class for everything EXCEPT history and English which is the only advanced classes I’m in. Well I don’t know, but we have no classes together. Yaaay I finally found her…wait who is she with? Oh god she with Rick and…. Rodger, why is he freaking out? Oh he’s with Drew... Man if there was only a way I could get to Aria and not be seen by Rodger or Justin or someone else who’ll try to make me talk to Drew.  Aghh too late….

“Hey Amber Lynn over here,” Justin yelled waving towards me “ That’s the guy that Rodger was talking about yesterday.” He said while pointing to Drew.

“Oh Hi..”

Drew looks like an interesting kid but looks like a trouble maker too. For some reason he seems really familiar, but who does he remind me of?? He kept staring at my hair…like he’s never seen a girl with neon pink hair, it’s actually kind of common these days. They offered me to sit with them again but I decided not to and i sat with my friends and I was the only girl with 3 guys. After ten minutes of eating I looked over to Percy he seemed even more confused than usual, so I turned around to find Justin standing right there. I didn’t think any of them would come sit over here with the “scene” kids of the school considering the fact he’s one of the most popular kids in the school.

“Hey Amber Lynn, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out this weekend with Rick, Rodger, me, and Drew?” Justin seemed awkwardly shy I wonder why?

“Pstttt tell her to invite Aria!!!” Rick whispered/yelled across the table to make Aria blush, which it did.

Honestly I would hang out with them but I didn’t trust Drew at all. But I said yes any way......
