Following the countess through the desecrated village, they reached a rather large building on the far outskirts that resembled an old church. It towered over everything else, not leaving much to the imagination. The entire time, Jordan has been on edge. The sounds that followed them wherever they went made a chill run up her spine. The snarls and growl. The calling of crows. The crunching and snapping of branching so close that it made her flinch.

"When we get inside here, there are certain rules that you need to follow. Breaking them will mean that I cannot ensure your safety. Do you understand?" Lady Dimitrescu asked, turning and looking down at her.

Jordan gulped and nodded.

"Good girl. Now. You are not to talk to anyone in this meeting. Even if they try to speak with you, do not answer them. The only one you may communicate with is me, and Mother Miranda if she gives you permission. Next. You are to stay by my side and not leave my sight. Unless Mother Miranda orders you to approach her, you are to stay put near me. And finally, you are not to look at Mother Miranda until asked. You must keep your head down in her presence, for she is far beyond you. Do you understand everything I'm saying, Jordan?" The Lady said, keeping her golden gaze trained on the brunette.

Jordan wanted to slap herself right now for letting her mind drift off during that explanation. Thankfully, she managed to catch most of it and gave a stiff nod.

"You can speak, little one. Use your words." The Lady said, raising an eyebrow.

"I-I uh- y-yes...okay." Jordan spluttered out all at once.

She immediately cringed at her words and clamped her mouth shut. She could've sworn she heard an amused huff from the tall woman before the doors to the church doors opened wide. The area inside was huge. There was a carpeted path that led to a few steps. Beyond that was what looked to be a partially destroyed and partially makeshifted section that had a huge hole in the roof of it, letting the moonlight shine overhead. The area they were currently in had a bunch of mixed seating.

A large wooden and elegant chair to one side. A small wooden chair off next to the left of the carpeted steps. And a long wooden church bench shoved to the other side. It hardly looked like a place where a meeting of apparently incredibly important people would take place. Speaking of, as they entered, she noticed that they weren't alone there. In the crumbling section of the church filled with planks and platforms, various figures could be seen crouched in an animalistic way.

Jordan could hear the distant snarls and growls that she heard from outside previously. She glanced up to the sides and sure enough, they were up there too. They looked like even worse versions of the creature that the poor man from the village turned into. Were these the beasts that they said attacked their village? They looked like werewolves but....they also looked much too human to be werewolves. Not enough fur and their faces still vaguely resembled a human, no matter how twisted it was. She shivered.

"Ugh. Heisenberg, must you bring these beasts with you everywhere? Their constant noise will no doubt become a nuisance to this meeting once more. Such as you will." Lady Dimitrescu spoke up.

At first, Jordan didn't know who she was talking to, and then the air around them warped so badly that it almost made her dizzy. She noticed that the small scraps of metals on the ground were trembling. She was still confused about it up until she saw movement in the corner of her eye. She glanced to the side in time to see the raggedy man that appeared from seemingly nowhere. Over his shoulder, he had a large metal sledgehammer type of thing. Even through the small sunglasses, she could tell he was looking at her.

"You know I don't control where these freaks of nature go. They follow me around like lost puppies sometimes. They probably think I'm their damn leader. Can't help it. Get over it." The man, Heisenberg, said.
