A snake and an alligator appears

"At least one of us is having fun" Mooncaster growls at Kuro whose laughing at him for once again falling into a muddy deep section of water with a yowl.

"What? This is hilarious!" he counters smiling down at Mooncaster and Martha from a tree branch refusing to step into any of the swamp water. He then notices something in the water, something that doesn't look like it should be present. "Guys! Be careful! Something's coming toward you two!" he shouts out the warning.

Mooncaster looks around as does Martha but neither of them see anything strange. They remain vigilant but miss the fact that a log has been slowly moving toward them until a voice shouts out.

"Oi! Back off the new meat you hungry fools before I clabber ya!" the male alligator shouts as he bursts from the water behind them scaring Kuro off his branch and into the water. The alligator's dive into the water after Kuro clearly out to eat him. "Ah rotten carcass" the alligator man snarls before he dives headfirst into the water after the alligators.

"KURO!" Mooncaster shouts staring horrified at the spot where his friend had vanished from.

"He'll be fine...right?" Martha asks in a rare moment of being friendly.

"He can't swim..." he admits before noticing a boy standing behind the tree watching the water. It was the snake boy from the ceremony.

Suddenly the water frothes before Kuro is struggling just above water and the snake boy quickly reaches out to snag his arms, pulling him onto the muddy ground. "S-So much...w-water" Kuro whines collapsing and shaking, his fur wet and flattened against his skin.

The alligator guy comes bursting back out of the water "You guys are a long way from ho...wait is that the human girl? Why's she here?" he asks narrowing his eyes a bit suspiciously at her.

The snake boy looks at Martha amazed "You're human!? What'ss it like? How iss it growing up around animal people while human? What do humanss look like without clothess on? Can you ssho..." his mouth is covered by the alligator's tail.

"Tim...seriously, that isn't a question you should ever ask a woman" he says addressing the snake boy by name.

"Uhhhh...who are you two?" Kuro asks coming over to stand beside Martha who looks a little annoyed and creeped out at the same time.

"Sorry...should have introduced ourselves sooner! I'm Aussie Gator, the alligator and this is Tim Hisser, the poison snake" Aussie answers pointing to Tim when he mentions him "And you three are?"

"I'm Mooncaster Howler, these are my friends Kuro Foxy and Martha...Human?" Mooncaster answers back realizing he didn't know Martha's family name.

"You guys must be tired...and hungry" Aussie says as he hears Mooncaster's stomach growl loudly "Come on. We can take you guys to our home"

"Yeah! You have to come!" Tim says to Martha happily "I have sso many quesstionss for you about humans" he's already pulling her along happily.

"Sorry...he's a bit of a human fanatic but he's a good kid...only one to get old pyt-face to behave for a bit at least" Aussie says.

"That's...a little weird" Mooncaster says looking at Kuro who simply shrugs and follows after Tim and Martha, skirting the water and getting back into the trees.
