The blind one

They finally make it out of the underground tunnels and reunite with Mooncaster and the others.

"Martha! Are you alright?" Mooncaster immediately asks surprising both of them.

Martha lightly blushes "Um, yes"

"I'm glad" he says smiling, his tail wagging a bit.

Kuro a little annoyed at his friend ignoring him "I'm fine too, thanks for asking."

"Oh uh...sorry Kuro. Are you alright?" he quickly asks realizing he's being unkind to his friend.

Kuro rolls his eyes but smiles "It's fine. Come on, let's go. We still need to find the cat and wyvern, right?"

Eventually they make it to the valley of cats. The cat people all eye Mooncaster, clearly unnerved by a wolf person being amongst them.

"Must feel awful having cats naturally dislike you a bit" Aussie says smugly. Mooncaster growls lightly to him but says nothing.

"How do we find thiss cat from your vission?" Tim asks looking around at all the different cat people in this place.

"I...don't know" Mooncaster admits embarrassedly.

"Figures the wolf wouldn't know which cat we're after" Aussie says smirking a bit "Let me show you how it's done, wolfie" he approaches some female cat people "Hey cutie kitties~ Mind giving us some help~?"

"He's acting like a total creep..." Kuro says looking sick a bit. Martha looks uncomfortable.

"He alwayss actss like thiss around woman" Tim says sighing a bit.

"He hasn't acted like this around Martha?" Kuro points out.

"Women he sseess ass women" he corrects. None of them say anything about that meaning Aussie doesn't see Martha as a woman. Instead they watch as Aussie tries hitting on the female cat people to try to find out about a powerful cat person that they really know nothing about.

"He's scaring them..." Mooncaster sighs "Kuro...I think this is one time where your magic will come in handy to save those poor girls"

Kuro nods and takes control of Aussie to make him walk back to the group "Seriously...you scared those poor girls half to death" he shakes his head amused a bit before noticing the glares Mooncaster was getting "They really don't like wolves here..."

Suddenly a female voice speaks from behind them "That's a lot of magic swirling around you"

They all turn around to see the female cat person from the ceremony. Her grey eyes seemed to be resting right on Mooncaster.

"Lots of magic swirling around you like destiny has it's grip on you" she whispers before walking past Mooncaster, her tail going right under his chin and he shivers in response, face going bright red.

"W-Who are you?" he asks watching her.

She looks right at Kuro as she answers "I'm Malada Tabby"

"I'm Ku..." Kuro begins only to get lightly shoved by Mooncaster.

"My name is Mooncaster Howler" he says "What did you mean by magic swirling?"

"I see magic...lots of it around your group" she answers tilting her head "Howler....your a wolf then?" she asks, unable to see due to being blind.

"Yeah...you...can't see can you?" he asks concerned.

She raises an eyebrow toward his direction "Was the gray eyes a give away?"

"Kind of..." Aussie admits staring at her the same way Mooncaster was, like she was the only girl they had ever seen.

Kuro rolls his eyes at his friends obvious attraction to a stranger "Have you had any weird dreams lately?" He's not sure why he asks such a stupid thing.

She doesn't change direction of where she's looking but answers "...I've dreamed of a human petting a cat"

"What did the human or cat say?" Mooncaster asks, suddenly very interested in the conversation.

"Yes actually, the ca..." she begins only to be interrupted by another cat person.

"Haha! Did you all hear that? Malada the blind says she saw a cat and human hahahaha. Your blind, how can you see anything?" the cat person says laughing as the rest of her posse joins in the laughter.

Mooncaster growls for a second as he listens to them laughing before he suddenly howls "AWRRRRRROOOOO!!" the cat people dashes away screaming in fear at the sudden howling.

"Now that those annoying furballs are gone...you were saying miss?" he says smiling.

Malada is shocked but smiles at Tim by accident before answering "The cat said, the future is coming, the end is drawing near...go with them and protect what must be protected"

"What does any of that mean?" Kuro asks but Mooncaster has begun to pace.

"I....I think it means..." he starts to say before he stops moving as a vision overtakes him, his first ever waking vision.
