-A Few Weeks Later-

Back at the V tower, Vox had grown angry that his mascot had gone missing. He's usually able to keep his cool but when his 'assistant' goes missing, he tends to lose his cool.

"Where the fuck is she?! I need her to promote my new tech!"

"Voxxy, calm down. The little slut couldn't have just vanished" Valentino said

"She's the face of the company! I need her for this shit!"

"If she's not here, you could always replace the little chiquita"

"Who's gonna be gullible enough to fall for this shit?!

"The fish demon?"

"Baxter! Of course! He's desperate to get his ideas out there, he's bound to fall for this shit!"

Vox contacted Baxter and summoned him to his office, from there, Vox told Baxter his task and what he must do.

"So in order to get my ideas out there, I have to retrieve this 'traitor' and bring her back to you?" Baxter asked

"Yes, fish boy. Do that and I'll make you a star! But return to me empty handed and there will be consequences. Now go!"

Baxter ran out of the office and headed to what was Marionete's last known location before her tracker was shut off.

Baxter arrived at the Hotel but was confused that this was her last known location, but he carefully looked around for a way in that wasn't the front door.

As he attempted to enter via the back ladder, a shadow suddenly grabbed him and held him upside down.

"Huh? What the?!"

???: My, what a lovely meal. I bet you'll taste lovely with some soy sauce

Baxter was confused by who spoke until they revealed themselves from the shadows.

"Fuck. Not you"

"Is that any way to greet the radio demon?"

"I'm just here on a recovery mission so if..."

"You don't get to talk here..."

The shadows swallowed both of them and suddenly they were in Talia's room.

"Talia! Darling..."

"Fucking christ Alastor! Warn me next time! Oh fuck..."

I saw Alastor had a new 'guest' with him, I already had my hands full with the doll bitch and now I gotta deal with a fish.

"Alastor, just leave him there and I'll deal with him momentarily..."

"With pleasure Talia"

Alastor dropped him on the floor and he disappeared into the shadows, I stood up from my work bench and walked towards him.

I towered the fish demon by quite a bit but he didn't seem to show much fear, just resilience.

"What're you supposed to be?" he asked

"I'm an Overlord. Not a strong one like Alastor but an Overlord nonetheless"

"Heh, I only know you as the slut who worked for them before..."

I grabbed him by the throat and pinned him against the wall.

"No one calls me a slut and no one brings up my past with them, understand?!"

"Yes, understood"

I dropped him onto the floor, he gasped for air, and I walked back to my work station.

"Here's how this is gonna work, you're staying here since I can't have the V's harming my friends and..."

"Wait! I'm not staying here! I've got shit to do, I've got a life!"

"Oh, well I hope you kissed that goodbye cause you ain't leaving. Have fun with your roommate"

"Roommate?"

A whirlpool appeared below Baxter's feet and he was taken into a temporary room.

"Ugh, that felt weird. Where the hell am I?"

He looked around the new room, it was covered in slime and glitter, he tried to look for a way to escape but didn't see a way out.

Strings suddenly wrapped around him and lifted him off the ground.

"Shit. Not again"

???: Are you here to harm me some more?

"What?"

???: You already took away all my enchantments and tech eyes, replacing them with 'organic' parts. What more do you want to take away from me?!

Baxter let off a bioluminescent glow and he could see the unknown demon now.

"Marionete? Is that you?"

"Baxter? Is it truly you?"

The strings dropped him, he carefully approached the terrified doll demon.

"What did they do to you?" he asked

"The radio demon, he took away all my tech parts and replaced them with organic parts. He then... hurt me"

"Well I suppose you are no value to Vox anymore"

"Vox? He sent you to retrieve me?"

"Yes but now we're both stuck wherever this is. How long have you been here?"

"I lost track but maybe... five weeks?"

"Five weeks?!"

"Vox is bound to send someone else to retrieve us, right?

"We're probably fucked. Very much fucked"

With the two traitors now trapped, Talia had both her hands full, and with only the assistance of Alastor and Angel. 

She can only keep them there until they come looking for them, or worse, for her.
