Chapter 14

Author POV (2 weeks later)

Yeonjun had a whole week off of work because the office was having work done on it. That means he hasn't seen Soobin, and today he called Yeonjun asking if he could come over today. Of course, Yeonjun said yes, so now here he was with Soobin, who was now in his headspace bawling his eyes out.

"Binnie, what's wrong?" Yeonjun asked, pulling Binnie on to his lap.

Binnie just continued to cry, rubbing his eyes. Yeonjun sighed and lifted Binnie off of his lap and put him on the couch, which made him cry harder. Yeonjun walked out of the living room down the hallway to his room to grab something.

"Binnie~" Yeonjun called out, walking back into the living room.

Binnie looked at him and noticed Yeonjun had a pacifier in his hand. Binnie reached his hand out about to snatch the pacifier out of Yeonjun's hand, but Yeonjun pulled it back.

"Is that how you take things from people?" Yeonjun asked with one eyebrow raised.

Binnie pouted but then politely asked with puppy eyes "Have please?"

Yeonjun smiled "of course!" He put the pacifier in Binnie's mouth and sat down next to him on the couch. Yeonjun pulled Binne back onto his lap and hugged him while rocking a little bit. Lately, Soobin has been falling into a younger headspace. Yeonjun doesn't know why and every time he asks, Soobin just says he's been stressed, but Yeonjun thinks it's more than that.

"Binnie, do you wanna watch tv and color?" Yeonjun asked, picking up the remote.

Binnie nodded and got off of Yeonjun's lap to get his coloring books. Yeonjun put on Binnie's favorite cartoon, which is 'Craig of the Creek'.

"What coloring book are we working on today?" Yeonjun got on the floor after watching Binnie sit down in front of the coffee table.

Binnie showed him the coloring book and Yeonjun smiled when he noticed it was the one he had bought for him recently. It was a butterfly coloring book. Binnie opened the coloring book to two pages that weren't colored yet and they both started coloring in silence. Usually, Binnie talks while coloring, telling Yeonjun what colors he's going to use and telling Yeonjun some silly story he made up. But when he falls into a younger headspace, he doesn't talk much.

Binnie tapped on Yeonjun's shoulder, showing him his empty sippy cup. "You want juice?" Yeonjun asked.

Binnie nodded his head and Yeonjun smiled, taking the cup to go fill it up with juice, but because of this he failed to see the text that had just been sent to his phone.

"Thank you." Yeonjun said to the delivery guy. He had just received a package that had a surprise gift for Binnie in it.

He closed the door, forgetting to lock it, and walked over to Binnie, who was in the living room watching SpongeBob while playing with the pacifier that was in his mouth.

"Binnie, I have a surprise for you~"

Binnie turned to him and watched Yeonjun set a box in front of him.

"I need to go get some scissors be right back." Yeonjun got up and went down the hallway to his room to get the scissors.

Yeonjun looked everywhere in the room for his scissors, but he couldn't find them anywhere.

'Where the hell did I put them?'

"Yeonjun, you left your door unlocked! Um what the fuck..."

Yeonjun, who was currently on his knees looking under his bed for his scissors, shot his head up in shock when he heard Kai. He got up running out of his room to see his three best friends looking confused as fuck wondering why Soobin had a pacifier in his mouth and why there were baby supplies all in the living room.

"Uh Yeonjun, what is going on..." Taehyun asked, still looking at Soobin who was in front of them.

Binnie got up off the floor and ran down the hallway to Yeonjun's room.

"I'll explain everything, but right now I have to tend to him." Yeonjun said to his friends. He turned around and went back down the hallway to go check on Binnie.
