A/N: I have so much schoolwork to get done and no motivation to do it so here's a chapter!

Becca felt like she was swimming. The darkness kept sucking her down, but something warm pulled her up.

She felt like a rubber band.

In her mind she knew she didn't want to die today. Hell, she was only 25. She wanted to see the world, explore every inch of it without having to prerequisite of an assassination tied to the trip.

To be fair she'd only gone on one mission and ended up getting shot, so she doubted they'd let her out of the compound any time soon.

She wasn't dying today.

Suddenly she wasn't swimming, she was being quickly pushed towards the light.

She sat up with a start, her eyes flying open and instantly on alert. She didn't know where she was taken after she'd passed out, but one thing her mentor always taught her was to be on guard. She was vulnerable right now and she didn't know where she was.

So naturally she grabbed the first sharp thing she could find--which happened to be the IV needle in her arm. it didn't hurt nearly as much as her shoulder.

Her eyes were blurry, but she could hear perfectly fine, and she jammed the needle as hard as she could into someone trying to grab at her, but whoever it was, was stronger and had a very high pain tolerance and she was pinned against the hospital bed again kicking and screaming. Her arms were being held down, but her legs were free, and she felt some satisfaction when her foot made contact with something.

There was a loud yelp, but strong arms held her tightly in place.

Her eyes finally focused, and she stares up at Bucky, whose inches away from her face, his face contorted into a mixture of pain and relief.

"Holy crap Becca, calm down."
