sorry for not updating sooner i have had no clue what to write for the next chapter 😭
timejump to December:
i had spent thanksgiving with my mom and brother in cali. She was really patriotic and glad to be where she was, so i promised her i would always spend Thanksgiving with her.
i walked out of the recording studio. Drew picked me up and we went to the house.
"Hey Maddie." i said sitting at the island, Drew sitting next to me.
"Hi babes. Oh hey uh i wanted to ask what the plan was for Christmas?" she said cutting her apple.
"uh i didn't really think about it, I have been so busy. Let me call my mom." i said getting up. I pressed the call button and put her on speaker.
"hi mom you are on speaker by the way."
"hi mija. whats up?"
"oh i just was calling to ask what the plan is for Christmas?"
"oh well i was thinking because you and Drew probably want to see each other and his family is there we would get a airbnb and come see you. I also know you are busy right now." she said
"oh ok that should be great." i said turning to Drew.
"yeah thats great, Miss Vergara thank you." drew spoke up
"oh Drew call me Sofia." she hated when people called her Miss Vergara
"right sorry." he said running his hands through his hair.
"its fine Drew. well it was nice talking but i have to run."
"ok i love you mami bye."
"love you mija, kisses." she blew kisses threw the phone and hung up.
"Well looks like you are staying here for Christmas." Maddie said excitedly "oh we can make cookies and ginger bread houses, and go sledding."
"ya that sounds fun. Drew what do your parents usually do for Christmas?"
"uh well i justgo to my moms for lunch on Christmas day and then on Christmas eve i go to my dads for late breakfast." he said rubbing my back.
"so what do you want to do?" i paused, "i want to spend it with you." i said turning toward him
" well maybe our families can all come over here or my place on Christmas eve for dinner and then just us two can be together on Christmas day. then we can go say hi at the houses later?" he said
"i love that idea." i said resting my head on his shoulder.
"Maddie what are you and Chase doing?" Drew asked
"oh uh we are gonna just gonna spend the day at his place." she said sitting down
