(Bakugo's POV)

It's about six, and everyone else in my dorm is out gossiping about sensei's date tonight, so it's just me there when the doorbell rings. I open the door to a smiling Eri with her hands in the air.

"Hi, Mr. Bakugo!"

"Heyo, pipsqueak," I say as I bring her in to the couch. She reaches into her Sanrio backpack from Shitty Hair (Kiri is the backpack giver its canon bc I said so), and her eyes widen as she goes through her notifications.

"Oh! Mr. Bakugo!"

"You don't have to call me that."

"What do I call you then?"

"... Does Kacchan sound good?"

"Ok, Kacchan!"

I can picture the little nerd sitting beside her, smiling at me with the same expression on his face as this little one right here.

They're both such innocent little beans,  I think to myself as I smile and nod at little Eri.

"Anyway, Mina told me to ask you if- HMPH?!?!?"

"What happened?" I ask.

"YOU AND MR. DEKU KISSED?!?!"

"HAH?!?!? PASS ME THAT," I say, and I read the text from Mina that's on the screen;

"ask Bakubro if the kiss with Deku was good XD"

"DAMN THAT RACCOON-"

I clear my throat, reminding myself there's a child in front of me.

"Sorry."

"Mr- Kacchan?"

"Mhm?"

"Was the kiss good?"

"...dont worry about that, kiddo," I say, mostly to keep myself from blabbing on how amazing the kiss actually was.

"Ok. Can we do each other's hair??" she says excitedly. She reminded me of Deku when he was messing with the brownie mix.

"WOAHHHH,"  Echoes in my head as I remember that Saturday.

"Sure. Do you have any clips or something, or should we raid Pink Cheek's room," I ask, and Eri giggles and pulls out a little pouch of hair clips and scrunchies.

An hour or two later, my hair is somehow magically tied back, and I have a little pink hair clip in the front of my hair. I braided the top strands of Eri's hair to make a thin braid circling around the top of her head like a crown, and an extra braid to go around her little horn.

I pull out my phone and take a few pictures of us, and afterwards I let her play games on her tablet for awhile as I chill on the couch. I open my phone, and scroll through my notifications. Theres one missed call from a number I don't know.

Probably spam or something.

I go and mark all the group chat texts as read, since I'm not gonna bother to actually read the overload of stuff my classmates left there. All of a sudden a notification pops up at the top of my screen, from the same unrecognized number.

"Kacchan??"

That doesn't make sense. The text isn't from Deku's contact, but only he calls me that, besides Eri, who's playing subway surfers right now. I press on the notification and open the chat with the number.

"Hello?" I type.

The typing bubble on my screen sits there until a text shows up.

"This is a fake number, so don't try tracking us from it. This is the LOV."

I stare at my screen in shock.

Shit.

"We know how much he means to you. I'm passing the phone to him, so he can describe where we are, but if you ask him anything else, we will harm him, so watch out."

I start to panic as the typing bubble pops up on my screen again. Eri looks over, and I see her face flash with confusion.

"Are you ok, Mr. Kacchan?"

What if after this, she's the only one who calls me that!?

DAMN IT. SHIT!

"All good, kiddo," I grunt before looking back to this horror show.

"Kacchan! please don't come for me."

my eyes start to sting.

"you idiot, tell me where you are. NOW."

"kacchan, no."

"JESUS CHRIST ARE YOU TRYING TO DIE!?"

"I don't want to hurt anybody! just let me handle this."

"fucking freckles."

"Remember the last time you said that?"

I pause. Obviously I'd said that in many different places, but I immediately knew where he was.

"shoot," Deku texts before unsending the text before it.

"Too late, nerd. I'm on my way."

I pat Eri on the head and tell her to stay put, and she nods and goes back to her game. I text Mina to come over to the dorm, since I have to go somewhere.

And I'm off.

For Izuku.
