The Promised [Jenlisa FF]

Part 1

It was 11:00PM before her mom and Mrs. Kim got home. After Mrs. Kim paid her, Lisa took her mom home and asked if she could go out for a while. Surprisingly, her mom had said yes, she could go out for a couple of hours, as long as she was home before 1:00 AM. Not wasting any time, Lisa headed to the party, hoping to catch up with Sooyoung before she left.

Knocking on the door, she could hear all the people partying in the house. Figuring no one could hear her with the music, she just opened the door and walked on in. The first-person Lisa saw was her best friend, Kai. 

"Hey, Dude. How's it going? You see Sooyoung?"

"Uh, yeah, she's, uh, around here somewhere. You wait here, and I'll find her."

Lisa thought it was weird that Kai would offer to do that. "No, that's OK. I'll find her. Just tell me where she is."

"Lisa, she's, uh, well, she's in the bedroom."

"What the hell is she doing in the bedroom? Did she have too much to drink and pass out again?"

"Well, yeah, pal, she has been drinking a lot. But, hell, who hasn't? But, no, she isn't passed out."

Lisa was getting angry now. "Kai, just tell me where she is."

"Back off, man. OK, she's in the master bedroom. But do yourself a favor and just go home."

Lisa stalked off, looking for this bedroom. The woman she supposedly loved was in a bedroom doing lord knows what with lord knows who, and she was going to find her. This wasn't happening, it couldn't be. Sooyoung loved her, she had said as much on more than one occasion. Lisa trusted her.

The first door Lisa opened was the bathroom. Fortunately for her, no one was in there at the moment. She continued down the hall, heading for the last door. Kai caught up with her, and grabbed her by the arm. "Lisa, man, don't go in there. You really don't want to do that."

"Why the hell not? What the hell is going on? She's MY girlfriend, why would she be in a bedroom with someone else?"

"Lisa, I love you, man. We have been best buds since we were in preschool. But you can be so dense when it comes to women. Sooyoung has always been a whore. Hell, she's slept with most of the guys I know over the years."

"But, Kai, that was before we were together. She's with me now, right?"

"Damn it, Lisa, no, it's not right. She's been doing anything she could catch since way before she met you and meeting you didn't change anything. Hell, she's in there right now doing Lucas."

"No fricking way, Sooyoung wouldn't even talk to him, let alone sleep with him."

"I see you are going to make this hard. Well, good. I have wanted to tell you this for a long time. Sooyoung almost got me into the sack, after you and she started dating. And she would have succeeded if I hadn't got a big burst of conscience at the last minute. But the bitch has no conscience. She is a whore, Lisa, and if you don't believe me, open that door and see for yourself."

"No, Kai, you are wrong. She wouldn't do this to me. She loves me, I know she does. You have got to be lying."

Opening that door completely changed her outlook on life. It's amazing how one decision can have so many lasting ramifications.

There she was, lying beneath Lucas, making the same sounds she had made the few times she had let her go there. Her Sooyoung, letting some other man take her. She didn't' think she would ever be able to trust another woman again.
