Third Person's P.O.V

"Making Y/n his wife is the ending we're expecting." Kikyo aggressively fans herself with her signature ornament of big-feathered purple rhinestones.

"Maybe it's time we adopt her." Innocently suggests the adopted brother, himself.

"With her talent, she'll be heir in no time." Kalluto slightly gripped Alluka's hair-roots in the middle of braiding it.

"Gently! Meanie." He softly itched his head and transferred to his mother's side.

"But her hair's not white— The basic requirement a heir must have-" Milluki squeezed a seat beside their youngest brother.

"It's not about the heir!— It's about her having the potential to overthrow us-" Kalluto grumbled, pushing off the heavy male.

"If she could just have his child, she'd never have the chance to grow even a bit of malice towards us." Illumi sighs, having his dark nails done by their maids.

"She likes Killua right?— Then she must be plotting of killing them together." Gasped their paranoid mother, halting from grooming Alluka's hair.

"What do we do about this?" Milluki stole a bite from Kalluto's slice of cake.

"Hey!-"

"Well, I can't date her. Hisoka's my fiancé." The eldest nonchalantly professed.

...

"Real girls aren't my thing." Muttered the diehard otaku.

"Fine. It's either Alluka or me-" He stood in front of a mirror, smirking proudly on his pretty features. "Maybe I should change a hairstyle to look mature-"

"Everyone's overreacting. Y/n's always a part of the family and her loyalty's unquestionable." The grandfather walked in the living quarters with his son.

"You've gone senile, old man." Silva replied.

Subsequent to introducing Ryuji to her friends, the four of them casually chilled in the VIP room 'till the others arrive.

"Bless you~" Ryuji habitually puts on a mellow tone to his behavior whenever he watched over her little gestures.

"Someone's talking behind my back." Y/n rubbed her nose with a tissue after giving it consecutive sneezes.

"They're here!~" Leorio merrily announced, escorting the main couple to their seats.

Everyone had genuine grins on their faces, congratulating the fresh item...

Except for Y/n.

"Anna says she'll make up next-time." Gon awkwardly excused his lover, sitting next to Kurapika.

"She better!~" The tall friend shook his head but quickly picked up the mood as he begun to roister and start up the party.

Excluding Leorio, everybody knew the reason of their friend's intentional absence, subtly taking a gaze at Y/n whose mind can't be read but her adultish bearing seemed to convince them to move on.

After the fun feast and catch-up session that's majorly comprised of Killua and Retz's love-story, Leorio hogged the karaoke by himself and sang several romantic songs.

Unfortunately, their ears didn't appreciate his passionate sentiments.

...

It was undoubtedly a good-time, but it was a huge foul on Y/n's part.

Her personal feelings however, were easily suppressed with her unconditional love for this man...

And without a warning, Y/n stood, tapping her glass. "Let's make a toast." She proudly declared.

Her friends immediately got their drinks.

"For their everlasting love!" She raised her glass.

"Cheers!~"

The occasion was successfully dismissed in three hours.

Everyone went separate ways except for the lovers.

"You followed?"  He looked up.

Y/n reveals herself, silently jumping off the five story building. "Made sure you knew I was."

Killua glimpsed at his girlfriend's flat before shifting back his sight on her. "I would've ask Retz for a sleepover... But senpai has something to say to me right?"

She intended to speak but replied with a sigh of disappointment when he gave her a look of a stranger. "Sorry, I'm not used with this treatment.. Anyway, congrats."

"Senpai, how does it feel?" He had a bitter smirk. "The barrier I've put in our relationship?"

Addled by his charade, her face dimmed in response. "It's alright. I've always practiced a detached principle-"

"The more I try to get to know you, the greater distance you put." His expression screamed of boredom. "You're no fun."

...

"I'm sorry, Killua-""

"Y/n."

Her rigid mask cracked when he gently planted a palm on her head.

"That act. Let it go." He whispered. "You're no longer a mere servant of ours."

...

The kind nudge only drove the knife deep in her chest, failing to pacify the anxious girl.

"I'd like to resume this talk in private but that seems inappropriate now." She moved her feet, inviting him for a stroll. "That night.. You knew."

Taking a couple of steps, she affirmed with his silence.

...

"That attempt of kiss." She almost choked from forcing it out of her throat, slowly treading. "That was just a joke but I would like you to apologize for it.. Making fun of someone's feelings isn't justifiable."

"I can't entertain this topic." He left and gone ahead, walking through the crossroads.

"Rude brat." She stood and watched his back until his figure disappeared into a corner.

Brat Killua:
Won't be hanging out in your place anymore.
Don't worry about me and prioritize your happiness.

Having her feelings busted without even confessing herself, the woman finally shed a tear.

"Receiving a rejection when you're not even interested in a relationship with your crush is even worse." She mutters to herself, paving her way home with the first devastating defeat in her life.
