Today's Saturday, which means it's family and friends night for my family which I enjoy cause it brings us all together more importantly I get to see my uncle Rick cook his famous alcohol wings on the grill which might I add really be hitting after there done.
"Hey baby, you okay?" My mama asked walking by my room, coming from her beauty room as I nodded rubbing my wrist which insisted her coming inside and hugging me which I really needed
"Whenever you feel like talking, come to me" She said while pushing my head and looking at me as I smiled cause I really do love my parents before you know it my cousin rich busted through my door
"Yooooo, the best nigga in the family has arrived" Rich said coming to hug me which resulted in my mother popping his forehead
"Excuse me?" She asked looking at him
"Hey auntie Katrina" He said while hugging her first and she gave him a kiss on the forehead
"Hey, my baby" My mama said while laughing at him and he smiled sitting on the other side of me
"Well I'm gone go help your dad prep, but love you baby" My mama said while standing up from my bed as I smiled and nodding telling her I loved her back instantly
"You straight lil cousin?" Rich asked me and I nodded smiling knowing I'm gone be okay
"Let's go party then" He said as I smiled and we got up together leaving my room
Hours Later: Kyla's House
"Get it, get it" we hyped, daddy, uncle Rick and auntie Pam up as they did their annual dance competition in the house
"Hol on, what yall know about this pop, lock, drop, wash the windows" Uncle Rick said as he did some random as dance which left my dad to push him out the way and do a TikTok dance he seen before
"Oh hell nah, he cheating cause what the hell is a woah" Uncle Rick said as he mugged him and we laughed
"Time for you to get with the new generation pops" rich said to his dad while he playfully pushed him off of him
"You know I'm gone win every time, I don't know why you still think you can beat me" My father said as he came over and pecked my mom on her lips as she shook her head laughing at him
"Boy you cheated, with the lil humpy dance, ass to damn old to be doing that shit" Uncle Rick said while shaking his head and heading out back to the grill while my father followed him laughing
I love my family!
I heard the doorbell which resulted in me pause on the banana pudding and go open the front door to see Tyla, Ty and Zeus with food in hand
"Hey boo, we came to join the fun" Tyla said which made me smile and let them in and direct them to where everybody at
"YOOO, I KNOW THAT AINT MY BOY ZEUS" I heard my Uncle Dan yell which resulted in us laughing at his shenanigans cause he be so loud for what
"Girl you in here baking it up, ain't ya" Tyla stated as I laughed nodding while putting the cookies on top of the whip cream for the banana pudding
"You know" I said while laughing as her brothers went and enjoyed time with my family
"I'm just happy your in good spirits cause that's what I like to see" Tyla said which made me smile cause I truly appreciated it
"Thank youuu" I said while placing the plates they brought with them down on the table
"Aye cuz, you gotta come see this" my cousin rich said which made my smile drop and run to see what he was talking about only to see my father coughing up blood which made me scream cause noooo....
