"Ma you ate down with the nails and braids" I said while dragging my hands through my hair
"Anytime my love" My mama said while cleaning up her work area
"Ma you should start doing lashes though" I said while helping her clean up the hair
"I should but since this is only part time, I'm not gone add anything right now" She said while I nodded understanding cause my mom is a registered nurse along with being a architect so she has her life cut out for her
"Well if you do, I would definitely be your first client" I said smiling at her as she shook her head
"I bet, turn around so I can post this on my hair page" She said as I nodded while recording my nails for her
"Your birthday coming up, what you wanna do for it?" She asked me while sitting on her couch
"I don't know yet" I said lowly cause I only have one friend
"It's okay, do you have an idea of what you want for your birthday cause usually you'll have a full list" She said while chuckling cause that is true
"Haven't even made one of those yet" I said while sighing and leaning back
"Well take your time, it's not for another 3 months so need to stress it" She said while I nodded.
I walked out my mama's beauty room and went to my dad's layer to see what he was up too
"CATCH THE DAMN BALL JOE BARROW" I Heard my dad yell which made me turn my black ass back around cause I did not wanna hear that but before I heard the doorbell ring so I went to grab it, to see my uncle Rick, Zeus and Rich which made me mug them
"Lil girl if you don't let us in this house before I shove yo lil ass down" My uncle Rick said as I moved out there way so they could get through
"Hey mama" Zeus said as I smiled saying hey back while heading off to the kitchen
"Looking good cuzzo" I heard Rich say which made me say thank you
I looked around the pantry to see what snack I wanted but didn't see anything I liked so I sighed texting my mama asking if we could order chipotle
"What's wrong pretty?" I heard which made me look up to see Zeus
"I'm hungry, and I don't want what's here" I said sighing, waiting for my mom to reply to my message
"What you want then?" He asked me
"Chipotle" I said while he said hummed and I nodded heading off to my room
Hours Later: At The House
"MAMA YO FOOD HERE" I heard from the kitchen so I got up and went downstairs to see chipotle on the counter
"Aweeee mommy you got me my food" I said while running and hugging her
"I didn't buy that, Zeus did" She said as I looked over to see Zeus on the couch playing with his ear
"Oh, well sorry" I said while going over to Zeus and thanking him cause I really wanted chipotle
"Thank you for the chipotle" I said while he looked up from his phone
"Anytime mama" He said which made me smile cause he was always calling me mama
I walked over the bag and grabbed the chipotle I also offered some of it since he paid for it but he told me, he already ate
15 minutes later
I finished my food while closing it back up since it could be my leftovers for tonight but saw Zeus sleep on the couch so I paused my tv show and put my food away quickly while placing a blanket on top of him
I turned around to be faced with my father who was mean mugging me
"What you doing?" He asked while I pointed to Zeus
"Mhmm, let me find out my daughter falling in love" He said while walking away smiling which made her shake her head cause it wasn't nothing like that at least she don't think
