Unexpected

Ex. 4

Hospital

I never would've expected my Saturday to go like this, not only that seeing my dad laid out in our backyard coughing up blood from his mouth made it even worse for me.

"Is he okay?" I asked my Aunt Blaire as she came up to me and hugged me

"He's gone be alright, the bullet missed his heart but he's definitely not gone be able to walk for awhile" She said while I silently cried thanking god for protecting my father in whole

"Thank you Lord" My Aunt Blaire said as we hugged each other

"Your mom wants you to go to your friend house and get some rest while we clean up at the house" She said while I nodded as we left each others embrace and I walked out the hospital only to see Zeus leaning on the hood of his car in just an a hoodie, joggers and his slides so I walked his way which instantly made him hug me and all I could do was cry because why is so much happening stuff happening to me

"You gone be straight, I promise you" I heard Zeus say while I nodded my head and leaning up off of him wiping my face and looking up at him

"Come on, let's get you to my crib" He said while I nodded, hopping in his car and just leaning on the window as he pulled off from the hospital and I dozed off

20 minutes later: Zeus House

I exited Zeus car as he parked his car in his garage, and we walked into his estate, only for me to see Tyla in his kitchen eating popcorn but turned her head when she seen me and ran over to hug me while I smiled and thanked Zeus

"Omg is your father okay, like more importantly are you okay?" Tyla asked while I told her yes and more importantly calm down

I seen Zeus enter his bedroom and close the door while I turned back to Tyla as she smiled telling me she had made me a feel better basket which of course I thanked her as we talked all night until we both got tired...

2 hours later: Zeus House

I jolted out of my sleep to look over to see Tyla still asleep which made me climb out her bed and walk out her room silently to go downstairs to get some water, cause yet I had a nightmare about my father being in the hospital as I walked downstairs I seen someone shuffling which made me hit the lights and see Zeus high grabbing him a snack

"Omg I'm sorry, I thought someone was in here" I said while he nodded

"You straight ma" He said while fixing him the popcorn that's was in the microwave

I opened the fridge and grabbed a water and drunk small gulps, taking a seat by his island putting my head on the island and kicking my feet slightly since my feet couldn't touch the floor

"What happened lil baby?" I heard which resulted in me picking my head looking up at Zeus

"I had a nightmare about him" I said lowly while playing with the end of the shorts Tyla gave me to sleep in

"Yo pops gone be straight, trust me he's the strongest person I've ever met" Zeus said as I smiled hearing that about my father cause it is true no matter what we go through

"Thank you, I needed that" I said smiling hearing that but I noticed he kept looking at me so I excused myself cause his stare was a lil intimidating especially with his locs in a pony made him look even better and I don't wanna do nun I'll regret...maybe

"Let's get some sleep" He said while grabbing my hand and leading me to his room but I stopped him

"Zeus, I don't want your sister to think we have something going on, maybe I should go back to her room" I said quickly while trying to leave but he stopped me and stood infront of the doorway

"You good ma, just lay down" He said while I sighed and nodded as he turned the tv onto All American which made me smile cause I enjoy watching this and he was still on the first season before you know it he hopped in the bed with just shorts on as I gulped

"I'm not gone hurt you ma" Zeus said as I nodded laying down which resulted in him, laying me on his chest as I dozed off slowly from watching All American...
