Itachi is 4 and Nozomi is 10 (sorry if I got it wrong, I'm speed-running these chapters at 2AM)
"Nii-san! You're home!" Itachi rushed to glomp his sister on the leg.
"Yes I am, hello my adorable dango~" Nozomi cooed while patting her brother's head.
"Hmph! That name is embarrassing nii-san!" whined the 4 year old.
The only response was a giggle as she brought her (idk how tf but that auto corrected to iPhone 💀) brother to the living room, so she can show Itachi the dango sticks Nozomi bought as a surprise gift.
"Woahhhh!! Nii-san, are those for me?" Itachi jumped up and down excitedly at the thought of a sweet treat for his sweet tooth.
"Yes, they are." Nozomi responded as Itachi started to devour the dango with great speed. "Hey slow down! Don't get a cramp!"
Smiling at her brother, Nozomi walked to her mother to help out with the cooking.
"Helpful as always I see, my little girl is so mature!" said Mikoto proudly.

The Next Day
It was another day of being a chunin with her former-but-still-together team. Yes, Nozomi had graduated early alongside her best friend, Akihito due to being more advanced in the knowledge + experience area. God was on her side and got in a team with Akihito.
"Bye otouto, okā-san, otō-san!" Yelled outside to her family as Nozomi rushed to the meetup area with her teammates.

At the Meetup Area
"Hi Hito-kun! Hello Aimi-chan! Good morning Asahi-sensei!" Called out Nozomi while she ran to her team.
"Hey Nozomi-chan!" replied her teammates. Their sensei politely waved at the girl. "Today, we got a B-rank mission, to scout a sighting of potential threats to the Konoha." Announced Asahi-sensei. He showed them the scroll containing information.
"Oooo! This sounds like an awesome mission! I can't wait to finally get into some action!" Akihito shouted while pumping his fist into the air.
"Ecstatic as ever, Hito-kun." Sighed his best friend on the side. The others nodded in agreement.
"Let's get moving team, we don't want to show up too late or too early." Cautioned their instructor. The team nodded to show they understood and put their gear packs on.

At the Site
"Are you sure there were threats near this area sensei? It looks completely empty." Mumbled an impatient Akihito.
"Don't let your guard down, stay vigilant. There could be enemies in hiding." Warned their instructor, Asahi.
"Ne. Nozomi, do you see that lump? It looks slightly out of place..." Aimi remarked, staring at a strangely out-of-place grass patch.
"Hmm.. I'm no expert but it does, let's go check it out." Answered the raven haired kunoichi.
The girls headed towards the strange patch on the ground. Nozomi just stared at it, wondering if she had an idea of what it was.
