Prologue 4 : Kyuubi Attack and the Disappearance of Nozomi Uchiha

Nozomi - 12 Itachi - 6 Sasuke - 1

"Nozomi-chan! How are you? I haven't seen you in a while!" Exclaimed her renowned red haired aunt/godmother.

"Hi Uzumaki-San!" Bowed Nozomi.

"No need to be formal, I am your aunt after all.." teased Kushina

"Right! What brings you here, by the way?" Nozomi curiously inquired.

"Well, I am buying some baby supplies." Kushina hinted.

"Ohhh!! Oh my kami! You're gonna have a baby?!!!! I bet they will grow to be very strong! (Hint hint wink wink nudge nudge)" exclaimed Nozomi.

"Thanks Nozomi-chan, you better go back before your mother gets worried!" Reminded her aunt.

"Ok! See you around!" Nozomi said, rushing back to another part of the market.
That was the last time they ever interacted..

The Kyuubi is Unleashed

"Itachi! Bring Sasuke, we have to leave immediately! Once I drop you off at the shelter, please take care of our otouto." Nozomi urged to her brother. The Kyuubi had been awaken and rampaged through Konoha, destroying everyone or thing in its path.

Since Nozomi was a ninja, she had to help out in evacuation and spotting for survivors of the destroyed buildings, but her siblings came first.

"Nii-san! Why aren't you coming with us?..." Itachi asked cautiously. He knew why but had to confirm.

"I still have to help out as of my rank," Nozomi answered sadly as she poked him on the forehead with two fingers, "forgive me, otouto, maybe next time..."

Weeks Later

After Minato and Kushina sacrificed themselves to protect their son, after the devastating deaths of loved ones, after the rebuilding of Konoha, after third Hokage was reassigned to the seat, the Uchihas had noticed a certain important girl was missing.

Nozomi Uchiha.

Her body was not found so no one knew what really had become her fate, a true mystery, yet everyone shared a thought. It was a dark and hard to think of thought. The family tried to push it in the back of their minds, but it kept slipping out.

The Day News Was Announced

"Nii-san... she's dead?.." a look of horror spread across Itachi's face quickly to the news.

"Yes.. we are all in grief.. It has been months and there are no leads.. the conclusion has been decided, Nozomi Uchiha is dead." An ANBU member had come to announce the end of their investigation to Itachi, who had recently become chunin.

Now, Itachi may never be able to show this feat to his beloved nii-san.

The next few weeks have been depressing for the entire Uchiha Clan. Their princess had been killed while saving people, like a true hero, her name had graced the K.I.A stone.

Itachi yearned for the affectionate and proud remarks of his older sister, just like when Nozomi had been hospitalized.

With Nozomi

"Who...who are you." Nozomi shuddered, her mangekyou sharingan was on. Usually, she wouldn't need such draining powers, but something felt off about this masked person. The last thing she remembered was the planks of a house being thrown at her during the Kyuubi's rampage.

"That's not important, but I will tell you something..." The masked person started. "Your friend, Akihito, is alive.."

The last few words shook Nozomi to the core as she had a flashback of the traumatizing looks on her teammate's faces when they were wiped out by the enemies. No.. he must be lying..

"How would you know..." Nozomi asked cautiously.

"...I have....my sources.." the orange masked stranger replied with cautious hesitance to disclose anymore information.
"If you ever want to see him again, you just join our organization. You'd be a good asset.. We are hoping to achieve world peace in the organization." Offered the strange man

"How do I know I can trust you.." Nozomi backed away slowly.

"You have no choice.." The stranger replied ominously.

*sigh* "I accept..." the raven haired girl accepted.

Remembering Nozomi Uchiha
Nozomi - 17 Itachi - 10 Sasuke - 5

"Nii-san!" Young Sasuke called out.

"Yes, Otouto?" Itachi answered.

"Who is Nozomi Uchiha again? Tell me, tell me the story please!" Sasuke begged with the cutest doe eyes.

*sigh* "Fine.. Nozomi Uchiha was the princess of our clan, our oldest sister. She was a supportive, responsible, caring, and mature girl for someone 12 years old. Our nii-san died a hero during the Kyuubi Attack while saving citizens. She protected us." Itachi explained, he started to get emotional while remembering how many times his sister was there for them.

"She must've been so cool! I wish I could meet her.." Sasuke deflated.

"Hey! I'm cool too! Right?" Itachi tried to lighten the mood.

"Hmph!" Sasuke crossed his arms in defiance while looking away.
