2 months later.
Alessia's POV:
Ugh. The girls' sitter had an emergency so I have to pickup my sisters. I walk down to the elementary school. I walk in and sign Kira out. She sees me.
"Sissy!" She runs over and hugs me.
I push her off, "come on, we have to go get Maya."
She nods. I throw the hood of my jacket over my head. Kira skips ahead. We get to the preschool and I sign Maya out. I head to her class and grab her bag.
"Hi sissy!" She smiles
"Hey. Come on. I have to stop by somewhere on the way home." I put her bag on her back.
She nods. We start walking. We stop at the daycare and I get Holly. The girls walk just behind me and chat a lot. I lead them to a building.
"Stay just here girls." I point to the windowsill.
They sit there. I quickly run in and grab my wallet out.
"Yo, Less, what's up girl?" Kieran, my dealer, smiles
"Hey Kier, just my monthly." I exclaim, handing him payment
"Alright, here you go Less, see you next month." He hands me a paper bag.
I nod and head out. I nod to the girls and we head home. I notice neither mom or dad's car is there. I unlock the door.
"Go play girls." I tell them.
The drop their bags and run to the yard. I go upstairs. I put Holly in mom and dad's room. I tip the bag out onto my bed. I take some. I struggle feeling the effects. I take some more. I feel dizzy and it all goes dark.

Kira's POV:
"Kira, I want some juice." Maya exclaims as we bounce on the trampoline.
"Let's go ask Sissy." I exclaim and we get off.
We run inside and upstairs. I knock on her door.
"Sissy?" I call, pushing on her door.
It opens and I see Alessia lying on the ground, shaking. I can tell something is wrong.
"Wots wrong?" Maya asks
"Go get the emergency phone and call 911." I tell her
She nods and runs to mommy and daddy's room. She comes back with the phone.
"911, what's your emergency?" Someone on the phone asks
"I need some help. Something's wrong my with my sissy." I exclaim, "she's lying on the floor and shaking."
"Ok. Can you tell me your address, where you live?" She asks
"1916 Winston Avenue." I tel her quicks
"Ok. I'm sending paramedics to your house. Is your front door unlocked?" She asks
"No, Maya, go unlock door." I tell my sister, "my younger sissy is going to unlock the door and stay there."
Maya runs downstairs.
"Ok. I'm going to stay on the phone with you ok?" The phone person explains
I nod, "Okay."
"You're doing great honey. I want you to hold your sisters head in your hands. Is she still shaking?" The phone person asks
"Yes." I respond
"Alright. You're doing amazing." She exclaims
"Sissy, their here! It's Sylvie and Gabby!" Maya yells.
"Ok." I call back.
"I'm going to end the call now ok?" The person on the phone replies
"Ok." I respond and the phone call ends.
"Hey Kira, can you move back for me?" Gabby places a hand on my shoulder.
"Dawson. OD!" Sylvie holds up a brown bag, "Oxy."
"She got that on the way home." I tell her
"I'll push Narcan." Gabby exclaims
They treat Alessia but she doesn't wake up.
"We need to get her to med!" Sylvie explains
"Holly! She's in mommy and daddy's room." Maya exclaims
"I'll grab her. Sylvie, get her on the stair chair." Gabby runs out of the room and returns with Holly.
Sylvie pushes sissy downstairs. I hold Maya's hand and gabby's hand. We walk downstairs. Sylvie puts Alessia in the ambulance. Sylvie lifts Maya and I into the Ambulance. Gabby passes me Holly then closes the door.
"Is sissy going to be ok?" I ask
"Of course," Sylvie replies before rubbing Alessia's chest.
"Alessia?" She exclaims
"Huh?" Alessia groans as opens her eyes.
"Sissy!" I smile
"What happened?" Alessia asks as Sylvie sits the bed up.
"You overdosed." Sylvie replies
"Oh god." Alessia exclaims, "I'm sorry girls. I'm sorry you had to see that."
"Iss ok sissy." Maya hugs her.
We stop and gabby opens the doors. She gets the stretcher out and Sylvie gets me, Maya and Holly out. She carries Holly.
"Talk to me Dawson." Maggie runs forward.
"Alessia Kennedy, 13 years old. Overdosed on Oxy. Woke up in the ambulance. Conscious and alert. Pushed Narcan." Gabby replies
"My god. Girls." Mommy and Daddy run over.
"Daddy!" I jump to him
He lifts me up. Mommy grabs Kira.
Auntie Nat takes Alessia into a room. Sylvie hands mommy Holly. Auntie Nat exits the room.
"She's all good. You can go and talk to her." Nat tells mommy and daddy
"I'll take them to the daycare." Maggie exclaims, "come on girls."
Mommy and daddy put us down and Maggie gets Holly. She walks us somewhere.

Connor's POV:
We walk into Alessia's room.
"Hey honey." I gently smile
"I'm sorry!" She bursts out into tears.
"Hey. Shh!" I hug her as she cries into my shoulder.
Aurora sits on her other side.
"Talk to us baby," Aurora tells her softly
"I'm sorry, since we were taken, it's just been too much. The Oxy was the only way i felt calm." Alessia exclaims, "I promise to stop."
"Uh, kiddo. We want to send you to an inpatient rehab place. We will visit when we can baby." I tell her, "it's 60 days."
"Ok." She nods.
Nat walks in, "here's the paperwork. I called the place. She's good to go there. You can take her home and pack her a bag."
"Thanks Nat." I reply softly.
Aurora heads out to get the girls. I help Alessia up off the bed and she clings to me. I lift her up bridal style and she instantly falls asleep in my arms. Aurora meets me outside with the girls. I place Alessia in the car. I buckle her in and then close her door. Aurora gets the girls in. We head home. I wake Alessia up.
"Baby girl. Let's go pack your bag." I murmur softly
She nods and gets out with me. Rory stays in the car with the others. We head in to Alessia's room. I grab a bag. She gets her comfiest clothes and her slippers. I pack them in. We walk back out to car. I drive us to the rehab clinic. We all get out and Aurora holds Holly's car seat. We walk in.
"Hey, just signing in Alessia Kennedy for her 60 day program." I tell the clerk.
She nods, "say your goodbyes and then I'll take her back."
"Alright girls." I bend down to the younger girls height, "sissy is going to stay here for a little while. She's going to get better here!"
"No!" Kira and Maya attach to Alessia.
"Bye girls." Alessia cries
"No!" The girls cry.
Aurora gently gets the girls off Alessia and then hugs her.
"Well come around when possible Les." She tells her, "I love you Baby."
"I love you to mommy!" She sobs.
I hug her, "I love you kid."
"I love you too daddy." She cries as I let her go.
Kira runs back and hugs Alessia, "don't go sissy."
"I'm sorry Kira." Alessia replies
I lift Kira up as she screams in tears. Alessia is led away by the clerk. I carry Kira outside. I buckle her into the car. She is still sobbing. I shut her door and climb in. Aurora gets in after getting the others in. Holly is almost 6 months now. I lay my hand on Aurora's bump. She grew quicker this time because it's twins. She smiles.
"Our little boys." I murmur softly
She nods as I pull out. I drive us home. Kira has cried herself to sleep and the others are asleep as it is close to 8pm. I carry Kira and Maya inside. Aurora carries in Holly. I lay the girls in their beds. We have moved them into the same room for the boys to have a room. I meet Aurora in our room. We change and head to bed. I let Aurora lay her head on chest and I head tiny sobs.
"Rory?" I murmur
She looks up, tears streaming down her face.
"Babe, what's going on?" I ask her
"I failed. As a mother. And a doctor. I should've noticed. I'm terrible." She cries
"No no. No you're not." I reassure her, "she hid it well enough for us to not have noticed. You are a great mother. I promise."
"Promise?" She asks
"Promise." I kiss her forehead, "get some sleep my love."
We lay down and cuddle as we fall asleep.
