Emily's Pov
Today felt different, better. I think giving Clay space was letting him know I wasn't ready. When I woke up I rolled over to where Clay was, except Clay wasn't here... I started calling his name, no answer. I started screaming and the other releases called too. I started running, I needed to find him! My eyes filled up with water and I couldn't breath properly so I leaned up against a tree and started balling. I didn't even know why I was so emotional, we weren't even in love..
"It's going to be okay." Rain said hugging me
" No!" I screamed
I heard a movement in the bush and quickly ran over hoping to see Clay but I only say a giant wolf pounce on me and knock the wind right out of me. I screamed and fought back even though I was receiving huge wounds and gashes from this over powering wolf. I knew this was it, I closed my eyes and let the wolf rip me apart. When all hope was lost a dark figure ripped the wolf off my body and drained the blood from it's body. The figures face looked at me, there was blood all around the mouth with huge fangs, the veins around the bottom of the eyes had turned black. His eyes were black, a black that I got see through his soul. I glanced at my wounds and passed out due to blood loss and shock. When I awoke wolf meat was served with bark and berries. I sat up but soon sat down because of the pain I had received. My brain turned on and my mouth formed the word "Clay" I looked around but couldn't see him. I started sobbing and Marianna rushed over to my sleeping bag and put a finger to my lips.
"He's alright."
"Get him." I whispered
Before she could respond Clay walked back to our camp and ran over to me. He snuggled in and my body felt sore but warm and I had that feeling again... Love. This time I kissed him, it was passionate I didn't let go and he stayed with me all night.
"Never leave me again." I whispered
"Never." He said kissing my forehead
Clay started getting close, really close. I suddenly remembered what I saw earlier.
"WHAT ARE YOU!" I yelled
He frowned
"WHAT ARE YOU!" I yelled again
