"There's something more to that girl." Clay's mother remarked.
"She's just different." Clay's father added.
"Do you think he's going to turn her?" Clay's mother said with a nasty grin.
"He won't if he loves her." Clay's father explained frowning with every word said.
"We can help train our boy to turn off those feelings to help our species become dominant over those nasty humans!" Clays mother yelled with a snarl.
It got quiet for a minute, they thought hard both with curious faces.
"What if she isn't really a human?" Clay's dad explained.
"Of course she's not, I sensed it when we met her." Clay's mother said
"Does she even know she's not a human?" Clay's dad said picking the bark off of a tree.
Clay's mom watched him as he stupidly picked each piece off the tree.
"A tree?" Clay's mom said."A tree, what's wrong with a tree?" Clay's dad said curiously
Then he looked up, he stared right into his wife's eyes and they both said
"The hollow tree.. Get there fast!"
As soon as they came to the tree they were shocked to see Clay holding a match that was getting closer and closer to the old hollow tree.
"There is an easier way to do this!" Clay' parents yelled.
"No, there really isn't" Clay yelled back looking them dead in the eye.
"What if we said we wouldn't hurt her!" Clay's parents said barely being able to talk because of the flame getting closer to the tree.
"You promise me she will not be hurt, not even a single prick from a pin!" Clay yelled feeling the pain from the flame almost touching there old hollow tree.
"Because you see it's me or her right now and I'd choose her any day." Clay said falling to the ground because of the pain.
"We promise!" clay's parents said screaming with the pain.
"Good at least you can keep one promise forever." Clay said throwing the match into the tree.
Suddenly his parents and himself went up in flames and disappeared. The hollow trees flames came down and the steam and smoke disappeared which left a not damaged tree sitting in the middle of a valley of grass and flowers..
