3rd Person's POV: (Y/N) (L/N)

The stillness in the environment filled him with utmost acceptance to tranquility. To one extent, he let his white shell of a head sink to the old bench's plain wood, weapon leaning to the side. Gleaming lights, diminishing at a pace of a snail, held the room bright.

(Y/N) managed to drift off to sleep. As exhausted as the boy was, it was cursed upon him by relentless farming and requires of necessities. Well, more specifically, the aftermath. Hours and hours of grinding led to him being engulfed by the wrath of slumber.

Not to mention a fight with a strong enemy, stronger than he anticipated. That alone had caused him plain damage to his body, barely managing to walk properly painless. However, this need of rest brought him to recover from the aching aftertaste (Y/N) had suffered from.

Nevertheless, his eyes opened up by a sound, somehow undetectable. Groaning, he sat up right and began to stretch himself, freeing his body from the stiffness. A few cracks were heard, but it didn't sting to him. Soon, he wiped himself clean from the dust that seemed to attach to him.

A moment later, (Y/N) got a hold of his sword like weapon and placed it onto his back. Not even a minute passing, the bug human wandered off with renewed energy. Echoes of (Y/N)'s silent footsteps spread through the hallways, eventually falling numb to his ears, as he was focused on the road ahead.

-...-

The silence was unnerving. It always seemed to get to (Y/N), but he shook it off for a long time. Too long. Too long that occurred, it felt like torment. He despised it.

On his way deeper into the forgotten kingdom, he hadn't encountered a single foe, which in some sense didn't feel right. What was going on? He quietly asked, though knowing he wouldn't get an answer from anybody anytime soon.

He jumped down over a small stack of stairs, old and mostly covered with heaps of dust and dirt on the sides. A part of him was clouded in deep thought, momentarily stripping him from the road. This is too confusing. Shouldn't there be enemies appearing at any corner or something?

Sometime later, small rays of light poured in his vision, catching his attention. (Y/N) abruptly came to a halt, realizing what would have happened if he was to continue walking. A shiver ran down his spine as he looked closely. The ground before him was equipped with long and pointy spikes.

If anything, he'd be doomed if he didn't turn back to reality on time.

He was lucky.

Yeah, lucky...

He purposely marched backward to gain a path in order to build up momentum. The boy found a satisfying length and started running. With the spikes closing in his vision, anticipation cursed through his veins. As the danger was only half an inch away, (Y/N) jumped.

Wind graced his features, letting gravity and physics do their work. The other side could be seen, solid ground, safe ground. The distance lessened, height descending gracefully.

Somewhat faster than expected.

His momentum faded at a rapid rate, unnaturally so. (Y/N) looked down, his anxiousness reaching its peak. The metallic tips gleamed dangerously white, and while falling, they wore malicious and never-ending growth in size.

Fear pulsed through his blood vessels, and the heart pumped menacingly faster, screaming for its owner for an action to prevent death. Time seemed to slow down, and (Y/N)'s eyes searched for something to hold on to. Panic flooded his mind. What do I do? What do I do?!
