You didn't know how much time has passed since your arrival (more like a fall) to the underground kingdom. You were pretty much bored. As of now, nothing new happened, safe for the infected creatures you killed and gained Geo as loot. The System you discovered not long ago acted as a guide and that was all.

For better combat performance, you had switched out Fury of the Fallen with Heavy Blow, and you immediately noticed the difference. You had struck with more force than before, and small enemies practically zoomed to the wall whenever you hit them. The sight had been comical.

Speaking of Charms, you had also equipped Gathering Swarm. Tiny, white butterflies that almost gleamed had sprouted into existence, and they all had flown towards the dropped loot. With their tiny limbs, they had each carried one coin of Geo, and flew through the air towards you with practiced ease. They had dropped the Geo onto your outstretched hand and dissolved into white particles, leaving you alone again. The coins popped into your inventory, disappearing physically.

Now though, you just wandered through the Forgotten Crossroads, aiming to explore. You had walked through these underground ways and tunnels playing as the little knight on your PC, sure, but being said knight wandering through said tunnels underground was an entirely different story. You felt immersed in that perspective. No longer so tiny the Hollow Knight world which you now travel through physically present, interconnected with the MHA world to boot! A win win, wouldn't you think so?

Speaking of the game itself, you remembered beating a boss before. What was it again? That flying, magic ranged, frog like sorcerer, was its name Soul something? You only remembered the Soul thing, a magic source used to cast spells such as the Vengeful Spirit. And you remembered dying to it several times. Comes with not being a hardcore gamer, your buddy Leon teasingly said to you that time as you died for what felt like the hundredth time, who also was a fan of Hollow Knight, excessively so. A die-hard fan you could say.

A pro gamer was something you wish you were. Getting beaten in games you thought you were the best at just rubbed salt to the metaphorical wound. A weakness you wouldn't openly admit.

You drowned these mentally defeating moments in your head silent, instead focusing on the road you were taking to the familiar ruined village in which you found Sly in. From what you recalled, there should be a shop nearby.

Your memory served you well it seemed. Arriving back to the place and turning your head around a few times, a soft violet light caught your attention, the shop equally violet colored if not darker. It stood conveniently behind you to the tunnel's far end. You silently wondered why you didn't notice it the first time and brought Sly back up to his little shop in Dirtmouth, but made your way over.

The entry's open, you noted. Pushing aside the tissue, you went in. What greeted you was... an oversized bug lady looking like a strawberry flavored gummy bear. Her wide eyelashes hid her eyes, her thick lips seemingly accentuated by her red lipstick even more. She turned to you as you were staring, momentarily convinced you were a thief here to steal her goodies, but ultimately didn't because of your small statue.

"Heh? What's a little one like you doing in my shop??" She began, sort of bewildered. Her voice was a lot deeper than you thought it would be. Then again her body was so large it could fit about three or four times your size as The Knight.

You relaxed your poisture, a tell the bug woman took note. You weren't here to rob, per se. You wanted Charms and Notches to equip more Charms.

The tiny hand of yours pointed to one of the Charms she had on display - the Charm with a pink crystal in the middle - and the other to a nearby Notch. The shopowner instantly knew your intention behind the gesture. "Notch and this Charm are worth 800 Geo!"
