The New Superkids

Chapter 12

"Thanks Daniel! Look at where we are." James says as he paces up and down the prison.
"Look I didn't know that man would be there!"
"That man...is Chief Beastly." James corrects him.
"How did you know that?" Daniel says that. "He isn't in the NME profile book."
"I used to...work for him."...

"Let's go this way." Jade says as she skates off. Rose and Ruth follow behind. Jade breaths in cold air and looks to left to see Commander Rapper climbing down a tree.
"Thank God we have found you." Jade says. "Where did the Superkids go?"
"I...I don't know. I skied off before I knew anything." Rapper was feeling guilty. Feeling horrible about it. He sighs and takes off his goggles.
"I ran off. Left them with no help." Rapper teared up.
"They will be okay-"
"Rose! How could they? No leader with them." He puts his head down and sighs in grief.

"They have God. In Joshua 1:9 it says; Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go..."

"You worked for him? What? How?" Daniel said looking confused at the frustrated James.
"When my Father left me. I got into a bad crowd and found myself working for him."...

Jade, Rose and Ruth walked back into the Superkid Academy to help Commander Rapper inside.

"We need to go back out there." says Rapper who tried to get up. Jade pushed him down to the floor.
"Commander Rapper, One thing you have taught me over the years is to pray and keep health good so we can do things we need to."
"Your right." Commander Rapper sighs and stays sat on the floor.
"Let's pray." Ruth says. "Dear Lord in heaven, we thank you for what you have given us but we ask you to keep our Superkids safe so that they can come back to here to Superkid Academy...Amen."....

James and Daniel had been in the dusty prison for three hours now. They had seen the prisoners that they had to resuce before they went to the NME concert.

"There is no help!" James says as he paces through the prison space.
"Ha Ha! Too right there isn't!" Cheif Beastly.
"You won't get away with this!" Daniel says.
"Erm? Accuse me? I already have! Your trusty side kick at Superkid Academy hasn't come for you...and how long has it been?"
"They will come! We aren't alone. With have Jesus guiding us in his direction!"
"Yes you could say that you are not alone. I can see a little piece of my past walking behind you." He says looking at James. "James! Why don't you show yourself?"
James walks nervously over to the front of the prison...

"We have to go." Jade says as she buckles up her jacket.
"Wait." Commander Valerie says Missy comes in closely behind. Commander Valerie passes Jade a Com Watch. Not just any old Com Watch but her own from when she was in the Bluesquard.
"What does it do?"
"You could find out where the Superkids are through our camera that goes round Superkid Academy. It also helps with temperature and where abouts you are." Commander Alex came into the building followed by Commander Paul.
"You heard then?"
"Yeah. We better go." Alex and Paul race to get their ski gear and came back minutes later.
"Jade, Rose and Ruth. Come with me." Commander Paul said. "You guys stay here and try and track James and Daniel to see where they are."
"Same old Paul. Bosses us about even now and we are adults!" Commander Missy says...

Cheif Beastly had walked away from them about a hour ago. James was scared of him now but he knew that he had the Holy Spirit with him.
"Hello my Friends." says Major Dread as he walked into the room. His eyes weren't filled with anger more just happiness.
"Your Major Dread aren't you?"
"Yes. I am." He smiles and unlocks the prison that they were held in.
"What are you doing?" Daniel asks.
"Well I would like you to pray for me." James and Daniel looked at each other with confusion and thoughts triggered their minds. Is he fooling them? Is this some type of trick? Why would he? He is for NME? isn't he?
