Hello folks! It's been a while since I've posted here, but I'd just like to give you guys some insight into my current WIPs...

Obviously, I'm still working on the Silk and Steel Chronicles, and am currently a bit over halfway for Weeping Flames, the first book in the City of Sins series, featuring Fayette Mi, Io's sister! As usual, a few characters from the older books will be making an appearance. The main characters for this three-book series will be Fayette, Adrian, Darynne and Naeva, with the story focused on Gira and its very intriguing politics. I'm taking A-Levels Politics now, and I can already sense the massive impact on my work, so do watch out for that!

I'm very excited to tell you guys about Project Crescent! I actually have already settled down on a proper title for this book but I'm keeping it secret for now (just in case I change it). I literally just started writing this, so everything is still quite loosely planned.

There will be three main characters. I really wanted to try to write something with a bigger and more focused cast, so here's my first foray into that! The characters are respectively the assassin, the lord and the princess. It's a story about vengeance and, as always, political intrigue.

Years ago, the assassin's family was arrested for a crime they did not commit and executed. She was the sole survivor, spending the next decade meticulously planning out her revenge with her mentor. Yet when the mentor vanishes and she's left by herself, how shall she proceed?

The lord is forever burdened by the guilt of knowing his family failed to protect the assassin's, and it was his family's wishes and his own that they find the truth of what occurred. Why were they spared, but not them?

The princess wants to know why her fiance disappeared all those years ago, and why the world refused to let her investigate. So she does so in secret, forming an alliance with the lord, watching the assassin's every move as she attempts to reveal what so many are desperately trying to hide.

There is very likely a few other characters who will eventually become POV characters in the story, but these are the three we're starting off with! There's going to be fantasy and magic, and of course, politics. I knew I was screwed when I started thinking about a two-party parliament for the kingdom. It's a kingdom. (Or maybe it's a constitutional monarchy?)

Again, I've only literally just started writing this, so it'll likely take a couple months before I start publishing anything about it. But until then, happy reading!
