Stan

When I told Bingo I'd help her, I meant it. She didn't go to school the next day, and I was by her side the entire day!

"Stan... Are you okay? You seem sad."

The truth was, I was hurt, I didn't like to see Bingo hurt because of what I did. Sure it was an accident, but if I hadn't have them play on the tramp, I feel like Bingo wouldn't be hurt.

"I'm sorry I hurt you Bingo..." I said to the little heeler. She got confused.

"What? Stanny, it wasn't your fault!" Bingo replied to me, she held out her arms for me, I sank into the little pups arms, wanting to cry.

"Stan... Please... It wasn't your fault." She said as she hugged me, for a little puppy, the girl was amazing at comforting people.

"T-thanks Bingo." I said, Bingo looked at me and smiled. "Love you Stan." She said, "Love you too Bingo"

Bingo wanted to stand, so I lifted her and lowered her slowly, gently applying pressure to her foot until...

*YIP* "Ow!" Bingo yelled, her foot was getting worse...

"Bingo... Has your foot been hurting more and more?" I asked her, "Y-yes..." She said while sniffling.

I called mum and dad, I now had my license and since mum and dad were out on a jog, they let me drive Bingo to the clinic.

"Bingo, you ready?" I asked, "Yes Stan..." She said nervously. We went through the emergency side of the doors, and were talked to by the emergency desk operator.

"Woah, where are your parents you two?" She asked, "Out on a jog, I have my license and my sister has hurt her foot. I believe it's a broken ankle." I told her, she called a doctor who took Bingo and I to the office room.

"Okay, what seemed to be the problem? Is it her foot?" The doctor asked as she removed Bingos wrapping to reveal her foot had swollen up like a balloon.

"Oh my, we will take an X-ray okay honey?" The doctor told the frightened Bingo, to which Bingo hid herself in my fur.

"Sorry doc, she's a bit scared." I told her, she didn't seem to mind.

"It's okay Bingo... It won't hurt." The doctor told my little sister, she seemed to calm down a bit, but squealed after when the doc told us it was broken.

"Broken!? I don't want it to be broken! Stan please fix it!" Bingo squealed, scared. "Bingo... I'm sorry but I can't fix that. You'll have to let it heal" I told her. She started to cry, I held my sister as she cried. I didn't like seeing my sister sad, so I hugged her.

As the doctor got the cast ready for Bingo, she told Bingo that she needed to put her foot into place. Bingo didn't like the sound of this, considering any pressure made the pain ten times worse.

As soon as the doctor began doing so, Bingo Yipped and squealed as the doctor worked on her foot. She started to cry and whine as I held her, but she didn't move because of the pain it would bring.

When the doctor was done getting the cast on, Bingo looked like she'd been crying for hours...

"I... I hated that." Bingo said, "I know Bingo, but it needed to be done so you could heal." I told her, the doctor came back with some pain meds and had Bingo take them. As we left the doctors, Dad and Mum were outside waiting for us.

"Bingo honey did you get a cast?" Mum asked, "Yea momma... I hope you aren't mad at me..." Bingo started to sniffle again. Mum took her from my arms and snuggled her daughter.

"Of course not honey, I love you and I want you to feel better. Let's go get your sister from school." We all piled into the car and Mum and Dad let me drive while mum sat in the back with Bingo.

As Bluey got into the car, she saw Bingos foot, "Bingo, have you got a wrapping on your foot?" She asked, "No bluey... It's a cast, I broke my ankle." Bingo replied. "I don't want to wear this..." She started, "Can I take it off?" She asked mum. "No honey, your foot needs to get better first." She said to my little sister, who was now in a down mood.

"I don't like this thing." She said tapping the cast.

*YIP*

"Oh Bingo honey don't do that, you could mess up your foot." Mum said to her, Bingo didn't like the cast and wanted it gone. I understand it from a four years old point of view, but Bingo needs to wait and heal.

As we got home, I took the crutches out of the trunk for Bingo, she was still learning to use them, so mum and I helped her as dad got Bluey inside.

This is gonna be grueling for the little heeler, at least she's got me.
