Everything was going well as we ate dinner Sunghoon and appa carried the conversation but it felt normal, it was a nice feeling "princess you've been awfully quiet?" I looked up after my fathers words.

I shrugged "just a bit tired" my father nodded smiling at me "do you not have any questions for Iseul and Daniel?" The two looked at me smiling, I put my fork down nodding.

"I do have a few but they may be a bit personal and I don't wanna push" Iseul shook her head "ah no no shoot away, we're a family now, I have nothing to hide" she giggled making me smile nodding.

I looked to my brother who nodded with a soft smile as I opened my mouth "I wanted to ask about your ex husband, Daniels father, I understand if you don't wanna talk I just-" "we're divorced."

She smiled as my mouth formed an 'o' "sorry-" "don't be, you would find out either way and it's nothing I'm ashamed of, we fell out of love, it happens, we're still on good terms and Daniel visits him often" I nodded smiling at her willingness to be honest.

My father then cleared his throat gathering all the attention "so how was your time in America princess? Must have been different hm?" I nodded "how'd you....?" He shook his head with a smile "I did my research on what you two have been doing the last few years, you came back with that Japanese boy right?"

I nodded with a smile thinking about Niki "yeah Nikis my best friend" my father smiled nodding "I also found out your a lesbian" okay huh? My brows furrowed as Iseul seemed to understand holding his hand "not now Jinho-" my father gave her a stern look making me fidget uncomfortable.

I chuckled awkwardly trying to lift up the mood "you must be mistaken appa, I'm straight" my father shook his head "it's fine, I'm very gay positive, I even have a badge in my room" these old people tryna be 'woke' 🤦‍♀️.

Sunghoon decided to clarify for me "she's straight appa, she has a boyfriend" my father furrowed his brows "but I thought...." I shook my head "I'm dating Sunghoon best friend" hopefully he'll accept?

My father looked at me confused "Mingyu give me the pictures" one of my fathers bodyguards walked up to him handing him and envelope "then what about these pictures........

My body froze as I snatched the pictures going through each one "Dabin I thought we said no more secrets?" Sunghoon looked at me sternly as I bit my lip anxiously.

"Listen hoon it wasn't a big thing, I was dating this girl for a few months but it's not like me and Jake" my brother sighed rubbing his face "how many exs Dabin?" I put up three fingers as he shoved his face in his hands "I give up."

My gaze moved to my father who had a shit eating grin "so you are a lesbian?!" Why was he soo excited? I sighed shaking my head "I had a bisexual faze appa, but I'm straight now and I'm in love with a man" my fathers smile dropped.

"But what about Chaeryoung?" I was about to answer but my body froze "h-how do you know her name?" The elder man shrugged "she's your fiancé" EH?!?!!

I jumped out of my seat "WHAT?!?!" Sunghoon followed me "appa what are you talking about?! Dabin is already in a serious relationship" the elder man's sure turned dark.

Iseul and Daniel looked down scared "Jinho please, she's just a kid-" my father poked his cheek with his tongue "she's 17, I'm her father and I'm doing what's best for her!" wtf is going on?!

I clenched my fists confused as Sunghoon reached out to hold my hands "remember I'm here" I looked at him nodding as we waited for our father to elaborate.

"Listen Dabin you are still a child therefore still under my care, I'm doing what's best for you, this marriage-" "are you tryna fukin marry me off?!?" My father sighed relaxing in his chair.

He nodded like it was fukin nothing "IM A FUKIN MINOR!!" My father scoffed "didn't stop you from whoring around" see that's the dickhead I knew, all of this was fukin fake, why did I think otherwise.

Before either of us could continue Sunghoon grabbed my hand "we're leaving, don't try and reach out to us again!" he pierced holes into my father while the elder man sat unbothered?

As we made our way to the door we were stopped by three bodyguards "move!" Sunghoon glared at them but they stood like fukin statues "I said fukin move!" He tried pushing them aside when another bodyguard came and grabbed my wrist.

I winced "owh!" Sunghoon turned to us pissed off "get your fukin hands off of her!" Before he could rip the guy off of me he was held back by two bodyguards.

As we both struggled to get out our father walked towards us "make this easier for us and don't rebel? It'll just make this whole thing longer and you'll both be exhausted" Iseul and Daniel followed behind helpless.

"W-why are you doing this?" A tear trickled down my red cheeks, the elder man sighed walking towards me as he caressed my cheek making me want to punch the fuk outta him "don't fukin touch her!"

My father ignored Sunghoon as he smiled fatherly? "It's for your safety princess, I can't risk you getting hurt and I know Chaeryoungs family is wealthy and will protect you, Chaeryoung will care and love you the way you deserve sweetie, I've been an absent father and I wanna make up, please don't fight what's best for you?"

Fuk it was hard to be annoyed at him, he has changed but doesn't understand me, he doesn't understand how much I love Jake and he loves me "a-appa please, I love Jake" the elder man looked down shaking his head "take them to their rooms."

I was dragged to my 'room' "sleep" the guards voice was void of any emotion as he shut the door, I waited a few minutes before slowly opening the door only to find the same guard standing there "going somewhere?" He grinned making me roll my eyes and slam the door in his face.

I tried opening the window but there was a grate stopping me for leaving, I was trapped, wasn't even Sunghoons fault and he can't go anywhere, I gave mg father a second chance and this is where it got me, he changed alright but his way of being a good father sucks. I just need Jake.
