It's been a month since I found out about Jake and my sister and it's still effecting me and Dabins relationship but if this is what it takes for her to understand that's she's too young for this shit then soo be it.
I just got home from my date with Kazuha "Dabin I'm home" silence, as expected no response so I walked up to her room to give her sushi that I picked up for her on the way home.
I opened the door to find her vapin?!?! I stormed over to her ripping her head phones off "wtf Park Dabin?!?!?" Her body froze as she tried hiding the vape "hoon it's not like that-" "give me the fukin vape!" she looked down handing me the cancer device.
My heart shattered looking down at her exposed arm "wth is this?" I spoke in a softer tone seeing cuts on her arm "it's nothing hoon" she retrieved her arm shyly hiding it. She was self harming?
Seeing my baby sister harm herself like this broke me "why? Why're you hurting yourself? After everything that happened to eomma? Why?" She sighed looking up with tears in her eyes.
"Why do you think hoon?" I gulped as the realisation hit, Jake really meant that much to her? But why? She's still a kid she can't experience true love yet....right?
"Really? Because of him? Wow......I rly fuked up huh?" She looked down nodding slowly "I-I'm sorry bin I didn't realise" I ran my hand through my hair. I did this to her.
A tear fell down my cheek as I stared at the floor "I-I'm soo soo sorry binnie" I fell on my knees bowing my head "please forgive me" I heard her gasp as she got down on her knees.
She held my hand "hoon this is too much, you messed up but don't get on your fukin knees, your egos too big for this shit" I chuckled as we both stood up I pulled her into a hug.
She leaned into my arms snuggling up to my chest "I've been a crap brother hm?" She nodded in my arms as I sighed stroking her hair "I'm sorry binnie, you know I love you this is all just soo new and hard for me.....forgive me?"
We pulled away and she had a thoughtful look "mhm....I'll think about it" I rolled my eyes "yah you little shit" she giggled "fine fine I forgive you" we both chuckled as I pulled her into my arms again.
We stood in silence "promise me not to pull this shit again? No vaping, no cutting, be a good girl?" she rolled her eyes sassily "yeah yeah whatever" I chuckled before turning stern "seriously Dabin, I hate seeing you do this to yourself" she sighed nodding "I promise."
I smiled softly pecking her forehead "now let's fix the shit load of mess I caused" I took her phone taking off parent control "go to him" her eyes widened "w-what?"
I nodded smiling warmly "go to Jake" she shook her head "I can't, he said it was all fake-" "go to him, trust me" I squeezed her shoulders placing the stupid ring he gave her in her hand as she smiling cutely.
"Thanks hoon" she hugged me one last time before running out the room giddy, I sighed "fuk this is gonna be hard" I sat on the bed stroking Gauel "god what have I done."
The puppy barked licking my face as I chuckled "I know I know, now let me get that stupid bike of hers" I put the puppy down leaving to get that what did she call it? Vaper? Smoker? Some shit like that. I have to be a better brother for her.
