Chapter 9

At school:

Yuqi's pov:

When I arrive I called Shuhua because I wanted to talk to her, she told me she was next to her locker so I went there but I didn't expect that she would be with him.

Soyeon went to her locker and Minnie went to talk to Miyeon so I was alone.

"Yuqi! He is Lucas, remember? I told you about him the other day" Shuhua looks so happy with him so I just gave a little smile.

"Hi, I'm Lucas, nice to meet you Yuqi" he said, I took his hand and shake it.

"I have to go to the bathroom" I ran to the bathroom.

-What the hell just happened? His acting like he doesn't know me, I have to tell Shuhua as soon as possible, Lucas is a bad person I don't want him with Shu- I was lost in my thoughts I didn't know I was already in front of the bathroom door.

I opened the door and Soyeon was in there.

Soyeon's pov:

I was in the bathroom washing my hands when Yuqi just came in and it seem like she was panicking.

"Hey Yuqi, what's wrong?" I asked her.

"I need to tell Shuhua, I need to tell Shuhua!" She said walking side to side.

"Hey hey, calm down" I hold her hands in mine and looked at her eyes.

"Shuhua is with Lucas" her face suddenly looked so pale.

No one's pov:

After a little bit of talking with Soyeon, Yuqi felt better and went to her class. She saw Shuhua and sat beside her, Yuqi tried to talk to Shuhua but she was ignoring her.

At the cafeteria:

"Shuhua can we talk please" Yuqi took Shuhua's hand and looked at her.

Shuhua didn't say anything and just looked at her.

"Please Shu" Yuqi begged.

Yuqi kept begging and begging until Shuhua just nodded.

They went to a empty classroom and locked the door.

"Make it fast, I'm hungry" Shuhua broke the silence.

"Why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?" Yuqi was confused.

"Just fucking tell me, what do you want to talk about?" Shuhua was angry, but Yuqi had no idea why.

"Why are you fucking mad? I didn't do anything and if I did jut fucking tell me"

"U want me to tell u? Okay then, why didn't you tell me you already knew Lucas from your old school?" -Did Lucas tell her?- Yuqi was so confused. Why was she mad at her because she didn't tell her that she already knew Lucas?

"Well yes I already knew him, but Shu, he's a bad person" Yuqi had flashbacks to when Lucas was hurting her, her eyes got teary as she remembered the pain she went through.

"Oh, come on Yuqi, don't play like the victim now, we both know that YOU were the one who played with his feelings" Shuhua was so angry.

"Wait, what!?" Yuqi was now even more confused.

"Yuqi, don't tell me you forgot the way you acted like you liked him but then humiliated him!" Shuhua voice was so loud, Yuqi knew that people outside could hear them.

"What are you talking about Shu!? I didn't do anything! He was the one who hurt me!" Yuqi could not believe that her best friend for almost 4 years would believe a boy she just met over her.

"Okay, then tell me, what did he do to you?" Shuhua looked at Yuqi with a poker face.

"H-He..." Yuqi couldn't continue, she just couldn't, Yes Lucas hurt her but she was more hurt that her best friend would believe someone over her that easily.

"Look, he didn't do anything. Just stop it Yuqi, you're humiliating yourself" Then Shuhua just walked out of the classroom.

Yuqi's pov:

She left, she left me here by myself.
I couldn't believe she trusted Lucas more than me.
My knees felt weaker and weaker until I started sobbing and fell to the floor crying.
-How!? Just how!? What's wrong with me? I now I was never enough for her because she's just so pretty and perfect but I tried my best- I was thinking and thinking. All my memories with Shuhua for the past 4 years.

Soyeon's pov:

It was time for lunch, I always eat with Yuqi and sometimes Shuhua.
I was looking for Yuqi in the cafeteria but I couldn't find her, I thought she must just come a little late so I started to eat but when I finished she still was anywhere to be found, so I just started to look for her.

I was passing by the hallways when I saw Shuhua coming out of a classroom looking kind of angry.

"Hey, Shuhua, do you know where Yuqi is?" I asked her.

"I don't know" she whispered and passed by me.

I looked inside the classroom where Shuhua just came out and there she was. Yuqi on the floor crying.

I ran to her and hugged her.

"Why are you always crying? Yuqi, it hurts me too seeing you cry, you know that?" I just couldn't believe it, what happened now?

"It was nothing" she got up and whipped her tears.

"Qi, you know you can tell me, right?" I was so worried.

"Soyeon, I told you, it's nothing" she tried to stop crying but tears kept falling.

"How can these be nothing Yuqi? I come looking for you to find you on the floor crying" I tried to stay calm but I was nervous, really nervous.

"SOYEON, I SAID IT'S NOTHING!" I got startled by her tone all of the sudden and then she got up and run out of the classroom.

Yuqi's pov:

When I arrived home that day I just locked myself in the bathroom crying without knowing what to do, my best friend was angry at me, she trusted a boy she just met over me and I yelled at Soyeon -What's fucking wrong with me?-

I heard a nock and already knew who it was.

"Qi? Are you in there?" I love Minnie so much, I wouldn't survive this without her.

I opened the door and let her in.

"What's wrong? Soyeon called just a few minutes ago asking if you were okay" she said.

"Min, what do I do now? I have no one!" I started sobbing again.

"What do you mean you have no one? Yuqi, I'm right here, you have Shuhua too and Soyeon, there's also Miyeon. And Mom and Dad"She sat next to me holding me from the side.

"Shuhua is angry at me because she believed him! And I yelled at Soyeon for nothing! I think she's angry too" I turned and hugged Minnie putting my head on her shoulder.

"Shuhua believed who? And about what?" Minnie asked.
