Backstory: Tallulah's early adolescence was punctuated by war and her parent's rebellion. Her father was a military leader and advisor to Fen Riorson, as well as her mother. But when all the rebellion leaders were captured and killed, her parents were included. Tallulah did her best to forget that day, but she still feels dragonfire in her nightmares.
Tallulah was sent to live with the Christensen family, who was loyal to the crown of Navarre. They tried teach her to be loyal too, but refused to teach her how to fight. Especially after Xaden started climbing the ranks. Despite adopting her at 8 years old, they never really trusted her and she never trusted them. So, Tallulah trained herself. Mainly by observation and sneaking out every night, and she grew fairly strong in private. As her physical skills grew, so did her temper. Tallulah often got in fights and argued with adults, even guards. She got in trouble a lot and didn't seem to care for those around her, even separating herself from her adoptive family.
Tallulah knew that she would have to walk the Precipice one day, but that doesn't mean she accepted it without a fight. She had to be dragged there and had a fair amount of blood on her hands when they got there. He Precipice itself nearly led to her death, and ultimately led to her fear of heights. She nearly fell off. Once on the other side, she was sorted into her wing as a Rider Cadet.
