my head throbbed as i slammed the 'OFF' on my alarm.

fuck, school.

i groggily got up from my bed and crawled to my closet.

i looked through the rows of tribal and khakis and found a red hoodie with my brown khakis and white vans.

why do I still care about how I look, I don't have any friends or anybody to dress for.

shut up jack.

put on your damn clothes and don't overthink all this simple shit pls.

I know it's early and it's Monday but pls get yourself together.

i fluffed up my hair and threw on deodorant and cologne.

I may be ugly but at least I smell good.

I then rushed down the stairs and into the kitchen to see my mom making me eggs and pancakes.

"hey honey" she said smiling at me

"hi mom"

"hey, put on your glasses"

I groaned and went back upstairs to my room.

glasses make me look like an even bigger nerd.

I obeyed my mom and put them on and rushed back down to the kitchen.

"that's better" she said looking at me and sliding a plate of food.

"thank you"

"no problem honey"

she came over to my side to kiss my head and then went to her room to start getting ready for work.

my eyes fluttered open to the yelling of my dad.

fuck, school.

i rubbed my eyes and slumped out of bed to my closet.

I looked through the crowds of black and "Obey" flowers.

then I found my blue Obey sweatshirt and flowered shorts with my nike high socks and black vans.

i quickly put on the clothes.

"JACK ARE YOU UP!?"

i rolled my eyes.

"YEAH DAD"

i threw on some deodorant and cologne and ran downstairs.

"good morning jack" my dad said as he picked up his work case.

I didn't reply

"I said good morning!" he said in a louder tone.

"oh, good morning" I said pretending to have half heartily fallen asleep.

"that's better" he said as he slammed the door shut to go to his work.

i sighed and poured myself some cold cereal.

️and sat there eating alone once again.
