A few days later Lucifer could leave the hospital with Charlie, Alastor helped Lucifer by carrying all the bags while Lucifer carried Charlie he was so happy to have his little girl in his hands, meanwhile alastor was struggling carrying three bags and he almost tripped one time, once they reached the car alastor put the bags in the trunk and got in the driver's seat as he watched Lucifer put Charlie in her new car seat at the back, which took alastor way to long to put in.

Lucifer got into the car and sat at the passengers seat beside alastor, "are you hungry for something?" Alastor asked "oh no I'm good just feeling tired that's all " Lucifer leaned onto the car window and Alastor nodded as he started to drive back to the house and Lucifer kept checking on Charlie everytime since he was worried something might happen to her "you should calm down, Charlie is a healthy girl and I'm a safe driver, you don't need to worry and just get yourself some rest" Alastor told the king who eventually calmed down "yeah your right thanks al" Lucifer smiled and just leaned back and looked out of the window and closed his eyes.

Alastors POV:

I continued to drive in silence apart from the quite snores coming from Lucifer and the sound of the car, it was weirdly quite today aswell, there would usually be fights going on every 10 blocks but none, it was quite boring honestly, I looked at the gas meter and noticed I needed it to get refilled so I started going around looking for a gas station.

Lucifer's POV:

I woke up and noticed the car stopped moving, I looked around and saw that we were at a gas station alastor must've just went inside to buy something, I looked over at Charlie and she started to cry, I hurried to the back seat and grabbed a baby bottle to feed her as she slowly started to calm down and fall asleep, And then alastor came in with a plastic bag in his hands "hello did Charlie wake up?" Alastor asked "yeah she just got hungry, what did you buy?" I asked as I put Charlie back in the car seat "nothing I just thought you might be hungry when you wake up" Alastor placed the bag on the dashboard of the car and waited for me to get back to the front so he could start the car. I sat back at my original seat and Alastor started the drive back home.

Once they got home Lucifer looked around hoping Lilith might've been home but she wasn't and it made Lucifer upset, he was worried on why she's taking so long to get home. Lucifer sighed and just carried Charlie into the new nursery room, Lucifer, Alastor, and Lilith worked on, Lucifer placed Charlie in her new crib and just let her sleep there as he went to the living room and saw alastor who was just watching TV as he leaned on the couch, Lucifer sat with him as the two just watched tv, both of them feeling tired as fuck and just let the day end there.

Lucifer was at his office as he worked on a duck for Charlie "maybe I should add more sparkle.." the man said and then looked at his ring and felt sad all over again, it's been six years since Liliths been gone and Charlie doesn't even know who she is, Lucifer didn't want to give up on Lilith, like come on he's been with Lilith for so long and then she suddenly disappeares, of course Lucifer would be heart broken, "I miss you Lilith" Lucifer muttered and he kissed his ring and sighed, until someone knocked on the door and went inside "papa, it's time for dinner!" Charlie walked inside, her beautiful long blonde hair tired into a cute red bow "aw hello apple seed, do alastor get that bow for you" Lucifer got up from his workstation and went over to Charlie and carried her.

The two went to the kitchen and saw alastor cooking something "hey al" Lucifer put Charlie down and leaned onto the counter "Wacha cooking?" The king asked "jambalaya, my mother used to cook me this all the time when I was just a child" Alastor said with his same old tone, he always tried to stay as his normal calm behavior, "alright I'll get the plates then" Lucifer went to prepare the table and Charlie helps by getting the placemats for the plates and Lucifer gave Charlie a pat on the head as she did it.

As the three ate Charlie looked at the two "papa when can I go to school" Charlie asked, she's in the age whete she's supposed to be going to school now but Lucifer felt nervous letting her little girl go to school "oh uh, I'm not sure the schools here aren't really..safe" Lucifer said and alastor noticed that Charlie looked disappointed "how about the schools at cannibal town?" Alastor suggested "cannibal town?, I'm not sure if that's..a safe place for Charlie" Lucifer muttered as he looked at alastor "don't judge a book by its cover deer, the schools in cannibal town are very friendly" Alastor said trying to reassure the worried father "alright we can check it out tomorrow, do you Wana come check it out Charlie?" Lucifer looked at her "yes! Yes!" Charlie cheered obviously excited to go to school, the three of them continued to eat as they talked about different topics, alastor wasn't talking much but enjoyed listening to Charlies interests.
