Times passes to years later and Charlie was nine years old and her 10th birthday was coming soon and Lucifer had an amazing plan to go to the aquarium with Charlie and her friends and alastor of course, Charlie did grow a liking to the creature's of the ocean after learning about them, her favorite were the manatees due to how friendly they were.
Alastor was just taking Charlies laundry to the laundry room until he noticed a laughing King in their office.
Alastor opened the door to Lucifer's office too see the man giggling to himself as he was making something in his workbench.
"Charlies going to like this!" He muttered to himself.
"Oh your highness what are you doing?"
"alastor!, nothing it was just for Charlies gift for her birthday you know, she's turning ten..she's getting older.."
Lucifer suddenly started to feel a little depressed as he thought how fast the time flew by.
"She is indeed well keep it up I'm sure she would love it" Alastor went back out of the office and headed to the laundry room.

The day arrived for Charlies birthday, everyone gathered together at the aquarium.
"C'mon guys just follow me or Alastor" Lucifer said, there weren't alot of people in the aquarium since it wasn't that popular in hell, there was no use for booking the whole place for themselves
(Cuz yk Lucifer is rich rich rich)
"Ohh look at these fish" Alec, one of Charlies friends pointed at the fish through the glass.
The children all huddled up around Alec, Charlie of course just waiting patiently for her turn like the good girl she is.
"Okay kids no shoving..kids?" The children wouldn't listen to the king himself, which caught Lucifer off guard.
Alastor noticed this happening and just thought he should help out.
You could hear a whistle making the kids stop and all look at Alastor "come now everyone, no shoving"
After the children listened Lucifer got closer to alastor "show off"
Lucifer chuckled and seeing his reaction made alastor giggle a little bit.
"I thought you said you were great with kids" Alastor replied.
"Well..with Charlie" Lucifer muttered feeling a bit embarrassed.
Seeing the king's reaction made alastor genuinely smile.
He didn't smile genuinely often, there was no point in doing so since no one could tell.

Alastor was carrying everyone's bags with his tentacles so it was hard for him to keep up with everyone else but when he did he could hear laughing children, and a weird sounding duck?
Alastor saw Lucifer waddling around like a penguin but he tried to sound like them but failed and sounded more like a duck instead.
Seeing Lucifer like that warmed alastors heart and suddenly a song started to play called "What can you say in a love song"
The tune started playing making the kids dance with each other leaving Lucifer and alastor to stand at the sidelines and watch as some of them got into pairs and danced to the tune.

Suddenly as Lucifer watched the children he saw a hand appear Infront of him.
It was alastors
"Care for a dance your highness?" Alastor asked, he tried to look as charming as ever.
The gesture made Lucifer blush lightly but brushed it off and chuckled
"Don't mind if I do"
Lucifer took Alastors hand and alastor pulled him in and danced with him, placing his hand on the shirt mans waist making the king feel shivers climb up to his shoulders.

The two looked at each other the blue atmosphere the water gave, and how dark it was, including the love song it made them feel that there was no one there and it was just the two of them.
Of course the both of them snapped out of it when the children started to giggle.
Alastor looked down to see the children watching them and it made him immediately let go of Lucifer.
Lucifer cleared his throat "so uh who wants pancakes?"

The day ended with all of them coming home exhausted and happy from the day they had.
As they got home alastor carried Charlie since she fell asleep and Lucifer had to open the door for them.
"...lovers long before us.." Lucifer muttered to himself since he wasnt able to get the song out of his head.
"Sang the same old chorus~" alastor joined in making eye contact with Lucifer and immediately blushed and looked away.
"..you were a pretty good dancer hm?" Alastor said after he calmed himself down.
"I'm the king of hell of course I'm a good dancer, but you didn't need to hold my waist the whole time earlier"
They entered Charlies room
"You never complained about it earlier, just thought you liked it" alastor tried his attempt on 'flirting' like what Rosie told him to do from their last meeting last week.
"Oh shut up" that comment made Lucifer blush.
Alastor laid Charlie down in her room before looking back at Lucifer.
".. goodnight!" Lucifer left the room and immediately went back to his bedroom
When you enter there were no longer paintings or pictures of Lilith and him, it was just him and Charlie and sometimes alastor especially the one on his nightstand, it was the picture he secretly took of the three of them when they went to the carnival several years ago.
Lucifer looked at his hand and saw the ring he removed it and just placed it inside of his drawer showing that he has moved on from Lilith.
