Karna's POV 💛
I was busy working in my hospital when I got a call from Dadi.

Dadi: Karna.. Do you remember what tomorrow is?

Karna: Ofcourse Grandma.. how can I forget.

Dadi: And you will also remember that you have not bought your clothes. You have an engagement tomorrow and you also have to select your sherwani for the wedding.

Karna: Don't worry Grandma.. right now I'm busy at the hospital, I'll go with Rudra in the evening.

Karna: What's the matter?

I just want to sleep like a log. My eyes and back are hurting.

Dadi- (to Rudra) Rudra.. Have the rings arrived from the jewelery shop or not?

Rudra-(scratching his neck nervously) Uhh.. Grandma.. I forgot that.

Dadi- (hitting him on his head) What should I do with you? The engagement is today.. go quickly and bring the rings.

He immediately ran outside taking the car keys to avoid Dadi's wrath. He's such a forgetful kid. There is hustle-bustle in the mansion, afterall.. Singhania family ke bade bete ki shadi hai. I know Sama would be busy in the preparations for the marriage. I will finally meet her after so many days.

The Singhania family reached at luxurious banquet, at the same time Raj family also entered there. They greeted and hugged each other, but both the families didn't let Karna and Samaira meet. Karna was eagerly waiting for her sitting on the sofa placed on the stage for them.

Not many people were invited, just close relatives. Karna's wait got over after Samaira entered the hall, cladded in a beautiful lehenga, looking absolute gorgeous. He couldn't take his eyes off her as he helped her ascend the stairs, holding her hand. He got lost in her smile she was giving to him.
