Yes! Chiron allowed me a one day break from building the Argo II a, actually more like Annabeth allowed me to [sorry sorry please don't kill me!!!] Where was I? Oh right, the zoo. I wanted to go with Jason and Beauty Queen, but they wanted their 'couple time' but nothing can restrain the McShizzle from freedom! [Not from you! Yeesh, the three of you]
I decided to go to the zoo, since this flamin' Valdez has never been there [shut up, Sadie! Give me back the mike! Ow, No! I'm not giving it to you! *nose bursts into flames* *cue laughter* Shut up.]
So when I saw the otters nearly spit water at me, my nose burst into flames, and it caught the attention of some weird people [Yes. Y'all are absolutely weird.] who I noticed had been staring at me for a while, though I was sure that they weren't monsters.
Oops. They could see through the Mist.

Flashback to when Leo entered the area
"Carter, do you think that guy has blood of the pharohs?" I nudge him softly [sorry maybe it wasn't softly, and don't forget I know your ren so behave properly, Carter.]
"Check the Duat. I'm also getting a weird vibe from him."
We were bringing out the initiates for a little excursion to celebrate the defeat of Apophis, and all the little crawlers voted for the zoo, so we had to oblige. After all, if we didn't they'd be making a big fuss in public. So, eh, who doesn't like the zoo anyways?
We arrived at the New York Zoo(though Uncle Amos said not to cross the boundary line, but as them mortals say, "I didn't choose the thug life. The thug life chose me") and were enjoying ourselves(though I had to restrain Felix when we were at the penguin section) when we saw this boy who gave us a bad vibe. Monster? I looked into the Duat and didn't see a monster, though his aura was the same hot orange as a fire and was glowing brightly. Not a mortal, but not a monster or blood of the pharohs. So what?
