As Natasha and Reneé parted ways after their initial meeting, Reneé found her thoughts lingering on the girl. As she made her way home, images of Natasha's face and personality danced through her mind.
Reneé couldn't shake the feeling of connection she had felt with Natasha during their conversation. There was something about the way Natasha spoke about her work, with such passion and enthusiasm, that resonated deeply with Reneé. It was clear that Natasha didn't just see the world; she felt it, capturing moments of beauty and emotion with a clarity that was truly inspiring.
As she sat in her apartment, finally alone, Reneé found herself longing for something more. She admired Natasha's authenticity, her refusal to compromise her artistic integrity for the sake of fame or fortune. In Natasha, Reneé saw a kindred spirit, someone who understood the true power of creativity and the importance of staying true to oneself.

One evening after some days full of meetings and planning, as the city buzzed with life outside her window, Reneé found herself staring at her phone, contemplating reaching out to Natasha. Despite the hectic schedule that consumed her days, Natasha's warm presence lingered in her thoughts, a beacon of comfort in the midst of her solitude. Reneé wanted to be closer to Natasha but she didn't understand why. She was pretty of course but both of them would prefer to keep things professional.
Summoning her courage, Reneé dialed Natasha's number, her heart fluttering with anticipation. As the phone rang, she wondered if Natasha would even see her phone with the exciting life she had.
To her relief, Natasha picked up after just a few rings, her voice warm and welcoming on the other end of the line. "Reneé, it's good to hear from you!" Natasha exclaimed, her genuine enthusiasm lifting Reneé's spirits in an instant.
''Hey Natasha! I'm sorry to call so suddenly, I was just alone at home, I was wondering if you would like to come over and have something to eat maybe?'' Reneé said a little too fast realizing she was feeling extremely nervous and embaressed.
''Oh I would love for sure! But I'm on my way for a job right now, I don't think I have the time'' Reneé felt her body cold ''Actually, I think you might like this one, would you like to come? We can have something after, on me!'' The blonde immediately came back to reality.
''Absolutely! Where do we meet?'' Reneé said getting up fast and looking for something to dress.
''I'll go get you in 10 minutes is that okay?''
---
When Natasha arrived, Reneé was already waiting outside her apartment and got inside the car with a big smile "Are you going to tell me where we are going?''
"If I tell you, you won't be so surprised.'' Natasha laughed and started the car ''Trust me, it'll be worth it''.
''Okay baby, I trust you'' Natasha blushed when she heard the nickname but tried not to pay too much attention because Renée called everyone that."So, tell me something about yourself that I don't know yet," Reneé said, selecting a song in Natasha's car.
''Hmmm Let me think'' Natasha rested her arm on the car window as they drove through the Los Angeles traffic. ''I'm half Brazilian, my mother moved here at a young age and met my father in the city where I was born'' Reneé opened her mouth, impressed by the information.
"Shut up! I'd love to see Brazil! That's so cool, do your parents live here now?"' Reneé asked, still interested in finding out more about the girl.
''No... Well, my father passed away a long time ago, my mother lives with my stepfather in my old town and... Let's just say it's not an easy relationship." Natasha said a little sadly and Reneé regretted her question but was grateful that she felt comfortable sharing it with her.
''I see... I'm sorry." Reneé rested her hand on Natasha's knee, who immediately pushed the break and blushed.
''Erh, we're here...''The blonde looked and realized where they were giving the girl a confusing look, Natasha invited Reneé to accompany her to the hospital where she was conducting interviews with children battling cancer.
At first, Reneé hesitated. The thought of confronting such raw and emotional experiences felt daunting. But something in Natasha's eyes, a mixture of determination and compassion, stirred something within her. With a silent nod, Reneé agreed to join Natasha on her visit to the hospital.
As they entered the pediatric oncology ward, Natasha introduced Reneé to the brave young souls whose stories she was documenting. Each child greeted them with a smile, their resilience shining through despite the immense challenges they faced.
As Natasha conducted her interviews, Reneé watched in awe. There was a tenderness in Natasha's approach, a genuine empathy that touched Reneé's heart. She listened intently as the children shared their hopes and fears, their dreams for the future intertwined with the harsh reality of their illness.
In that moment, Reneé saw Natasha in a new light. Here was a girl who didn't just capture moments; she captured souls. With each photograph and each word spoken, Natasha brought light into the darkness, offering a glimpse of hope to those who needed it most.
''Hey! You're Reneé Rapp? I'm such a big fan!'' A little girl came towards Reneé, drawing the attention of some of the other children around her.
"Yes, I am! Nice to meet you...'' Reneé made a face, asking her name.
''Lila!''
''Lila, nice to meet you!'' The girl blushed and jumped for joy ''Are you Nat's girlfriend?'' Lila asked, still smiling happily and Reneé blushed.
''No... Natasha is my friend'' The girl smiled and nodded, looking at Natasha in the background who was talking to another girl.
Reneé looked where Lila was looking and saw Natasha with a little girl on her lap teaching her how to take a picture of her friend. Reneé felt butterflies watching the girl, she admired Natasha, that was obvious but maybe this admiration was something more?
"Hey, could you sing us a song?'' Lila grabbed Reneé's hand and the blonde smiled and nodded.
"What would you like to hear, Lila? Reneé sat down on a chair next to the girl, who made a cute face as she was thinking.
''I'd love to hear Snow Angel!''Reneé smiled and started singing looking at the little girl. As Reneé's melodious voice filled the hospital corridors, Natasha started watching her with a smile. There was a beauty in Reneé's kindness and generosity that touched Natasha's soul, igniting a spark of admiration that had been smoldering within her for some time. Maybe she felt something for Reneé but it was for the best that she kept the feelings away.
As they left the hospital in a comfortable silence, Natasha couldn't shake the feeling that had taken hold of her heart. She found herself thinking about Reneé more and more, her laughter echoing in her mind like a sweet melody.
''Thank you for that, it was truly special'' Reneé said before getting in the car and hugged Natasha that felt her body melt by that.
