As the VMA day dawned, excitement crackled in the air, anticipation building to a fever pitch as celebrities and industry insiders descended upon the red carpet. Flashbulbs popped and cameras flashed as the stars posed and preened, their glamorous attire and dazzling smiles captivating the attention of onlookers and fans alike.

As Natasha stepped onto the red carpet, she was met with a barrage of questions from eager fans and curious reporters. Flashbulbs popped incessantly as cameras clicked away, capturing her every move and expression for posterity.

"Natasha, over here! Can you tell us about your relationship with Reneé?" one reporter called out, their voice barely audible over the din of the crowd.

Natasha's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Reneé's name, a rush of emotions flooding her senses. She struggled to maintain her composure as she faced the onslaught of questions, her mind racing with thoughts.

"I...uh...we..." Natasha stammered, her words failing her as she tried to formulate a response. But before she could gather her thoughts, she found herself swept up in the whirlwind of the red carpet, posing and smiling for the cameras with practiced ease.

It was a strange sensation, not being behind the cameras anymore. She struck pose after pose, her mind was elsewhere, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at her insides.

As Natasha settled into her seat, her mind still swirling with thoughts of Reneé and the tumultuous events of the evening, she found herself sitting uncomfortably close to the main stage because she was nominated. Surrounded by the buzz of excitement and the murmurs of the crowd, she felt a sense of disorientation wash over her, as if she were adrift in a sea of uncertainty, maybe she really didn't belong there as Reneé's fans would say.

Just as she was beginning to feel overwhelmed by the chaos around her, a voice broke through the noise, drawing her attention. Turning her head, Natasha was surprised to find herself face to face with none other than Sabrina Carpenter.

"Hi there" Sabrina said with a warm smile, her blue eyes twinkling with curiosity. "I'm a little lost. But I think I should be sitting here next to you"

Natasha blinked in surprise at the unexpected encounter, momentarily taken aback by Sabrina's friendly demeanor. But something about the singer's presence put her at ease, and she found herself nodding in agreement.

"Sure, go ahead" Natasha replied, offering Sabrina a small smile of gratitude.

As Sabrina turned to Natasha, her eyes sparkling with genuine interest, she extended her hand with a warm smile. "I'm Sabrina by the way. And you are?"

Natasha's surprise at the recognition quickly gave way to a sense of warmth as she shook Sabrina's hand. "Natasha" she replied, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sabrina, I love your work!"

Sabrina's eyes widened slightly in recognition as Natasha introduced herself. "Natasha... Natasha Burnett, right?" she asked, her tone tinged with excitement.

Natasha nodded, feeling a flush of pride at the recognition. "Yes, that's me" she confirmed, unable to hide the hint of surprise in her voice.

"I'm a huge fan of your work" Sabrina gushed, her enthusiasm bubbling over. "Especially the video you produced for Reneé's song. It was so beautifully done, and the imagery was just... stunning."

A swell of pride and gratitude washed over Natasha at Sabrina's words, her heart swelling with appreciation. "Thank you" she replied, her voice tinged with genuine gratitude. "That means a lot coming from you."

As the two women continued to chat, Natasha couldn't help but feel a connection with Sabrina. She started to feel less weird about not belonging there.
