Interior - The Lookout (Ryder's Room) - Day
Ryder is lying on his bed. He is bundled up, in his pajamas, while looking at a family photo of him and his parents. He see it with a sad look
He hear someone knocking on the door
Ryder (Sad): Coming
The door opens and Caleb, Alexa, Ephraín and Ana enter.
Alexa: Hello, Ryder.
Caleb: We came to say hello, buddy. How do you feel?
Ryder: I'm much better now. Thanks for coming
Ephraín: It's nothing, boy. We are all friends and among friends we have to take care of each other
Ryder smiles sadly and looks at the photo in his hands.
Ryder (Sad): I'm sorry... I've been thinking about my mom a lot... If she were here, things would be different
Ana looks at him sadly and sits on the bed.
Ana (Sad): We know. We miss her too, we really do.
Ryder (Sad): Today my dad called me... he said he wanted to talk to me, and I think I know what he wants to talk about.
Ephraín: Will you return to Adventure Bay?
Ryder (Sad): Maybe, but... Not yet. I have to find out who is behind those accidents. About who would want to hurt me and the pups
Alexa: But will you continue doing it secretly?
Ryder: Yes. I can't risk my dad finding out. If that were to happen... I don't even want to think what he would be capable of
Ephraín, Ana, Caleb and Alexa look at him worried
Ryder: For the sake of PAW Patrol, I have to keep it up.
Caleb (Concerned): But for how much longer? You won't be able to hide it forever
Ephraín (Concerned): Yes, when you least expect it, he's going to find out.
Ryder (Sad): I'd rather not talk about that, please. Now... I'm going to change my clothes to see my dad.
Ryder gets out of bed while Ephraín, Ana, Alex and Caleb look at him worriedly.
Interior – The Lookout (Central Room) – Day
Ryder has other clothes and goes downstairs along with Ana, Caleb, Alexa and Ephraín. Javier and the pups leave the elevator
Pups (Happy): Ryder!
The pups run towards Ryder, and he crouches down to greet them all.
Ryder: How are you, pups? How are the rescues going?
Chase: Everything's fine, Sir Ryder. There has been no other suspicious rescue these days
Ryder: That's good to hear. And what is my uncle like as a leader?
Marshall: He does it well... But you are the best leader of all, Ryder
Ryder smiles
Javier: It's true, Ryder. You were born for this. It's great to lead the PAW Patrol but... they already have a leader
Ryder: I know and they'll have it back. (He gets up from the ground) But first I have to go talk to dad.
