The Yuuzhan Vong and Peace Brigade conquered Ord Sedra, a backwater world in the Dominion of Allied Empires and took the planet's population as slaves. Jan Ors, Pallin, and Eternal Master Kyle Katarn led a force of stormtroopers to stop a convoy of Brigade slave traders led by a Yuuzhan Vong warlord.

The Peace Brigade, a political faction and paramilitary group that opposed N.A.T.O. It collaborated with the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion. Their symbol was the image of
a human hand and a Yuuzhan Vong hand clasped, as equals. Ironically, in the Yuuzhan Vong language, the phrase for peace was indistinguishable in meaning from the phrase for submission.
Formed by sentients who thought that the N.A.T.O. maintained an apathetic attitude, and later believed the New Republic was not reacting properly to the threat of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. They presumed that the Yuuzhan Vong would ultimately win the war; so, the Peace Brigade thought it best to become the allies of the Yuuzhan Vong against the Eternal Order. In the process of disrupting planetary governments, capturing ranking officials, and turning over Eternal prisoners to the invasion force, Unbeknownst to the Brigade, they were only sealing their own fate,
