Zap was in the kitchen, pouring a cup of coffee, when Never emerged. Her tentacles were a mess, her sarashi was sloppily wrapped around her chest and she looked exhausted. Zap looked at her and smirked.

"Good sleep?" He asked, taking a sip from his coffee. Never glared at him before grabbing Mimi's old blanket and using it to hide on the couch. Zap laughed.

"While I can't say with absolute certainty what happened last night," he takes another sip, "I think I have a pretty good idea." He stood there and waited for her to respond, she didn't. Eventually Viarrah came out, a bright smile beaming on her face, her clothes and tentacles tidy. She walked over to the unruly lump on the couch, lay down beside it and gave it a hug. A slight grumble escaped from the blanket. Zap tried to hold in a snigger as he came over and sat down on a chair. Viarrah pulled back the blanket a little to reveal Never's face, she looked like a grumpy cat. Zap burst out laughing as Viarrah lightly kissed Never on the cheek and she kept the petulant look on her face.

"I'm not even sorry!" Zap burst, "this is just funny." He knew exactly what happened.

"C'mon Nev," Viarrah said, "don't be a sour puss. Let's have a good day!" Never stayed silent for a moment, it was almost like she was hungover.

"So, how you enjoying your time in the splatlands?" Zap asked.

"What?" Viarrah sounded confused.

"Well I decided to check you out on splatter," Zap elaborated, splatter being a popular social media platform in modern inkling and octoling society, "and from what I've gathered you haven't always lived here and still kind of new, am I wrong?"

"Oh no, yeah, I've only lived here for about 7 months... well I say lived, I've been staying with a family friend while I look for a place to actually stay." Viarrah explained. Zap looked at Never, Never stared at him as if to say '*don't you fucking dare*.' He smiled and looked back at Viarrah.

"Why don't you stay with us? I'm sure Never wouldn't mind the company." He said, chuckling as he watched Never give him a death stare. Viarrah smiled.

"Really?! Would you be okay with that Never?" She said looking down at Never. Never turned to look at her and smiled.

"Fine by me." She said. She looked at Viarrah, smiling, though unsure of what their relationship actually was. In total honesty, she was fine with Viarrah staying with them... she just felt odd about it, though she wasn't sure why.

"Awesome!" Viarrah said excitedly, "I'll go get my stuff!" She made her way to the door, smiled and waved, then left.

"You okay?" Zap asked, looking at Never.

"I don't know..." she said with a strange look on her face.
