"There's a blood stain on your pant" I said and she froze in my arms

She let out a breath and her grip tightened on my shirt. A small groan involuntarily escaped her and her eyes immediately shut.

"Help me to the bathroom, please?" She breathlessly let out and my heart clenched

I hated seeing her In such immense pain but there was sadly nothing I could do, nature was taking its course. I scratched my head for a solution, it would take forever to make it to the female's bathroom at the pace she was moving and many more people would notice the stain on her pants.

"Forgive me for this" I voiced and lifted her off the ground in a bridal style.

She gasped and let out a small scream.

"What are you doing?. Let me down" She weakly squirmed and hit my chest

I paid her no heed and slid through the intense crowd of students whose eyes were intently fixated on us. Alaine buried her face in my chest and sank deeper into me, in an attempt to appear smaller. If I wasn't in such a hurry, I'd have laughed.

I placed her on her feet the moment I arrived at the toilet. She faced me and looked everywhere but my face.

"Thank you" She whispered. I barely heard her

"Do you have a... um... pad or tampon on you?" I hesitantly asked

Her face flushed and she looked down at her feet.

How cute.

I smiled. Oh, what I would do to have my arms wrapped around her this moment!.

"Yeah, I have a pad" She timdly answered

"Alright, go on. I'll be out here waiting" She nodded and walked in.

I rested against the door with a sigh.

Her earlier words replayed in my head and my fingers clenched together. Normally I'd be fine with not getting into anyone's personal space, I wasn't really a fan of physical contact but with her, it was different. I craved her touch, her attention, her presence, her very being.

It took a lot out of me not to give a reaction the instant those words left her lips. It brought by a turmoil of emotions and I wasn't sure on how to feel, her wanting to maintain physical distance could only mean two things. I was either having an effect on her, or she just straight up didn't like me flocking around her.

The bathroom door opened and she dragged herself out with her arms wrapped around her stomach.

"You good?" I asked rushing to her aid

I draped my arm round her shoulder and pulled her in for a side hug. She relaxed against me with a sigh and nodded

"I want to go home" She whispered

"Say no more"

She placed her hand on my chest to hinder me from moving

"Um... The stain left a mark which is still quite obvious" She lowly muttered

"Oh" I immediately understood her concern

"Well, I could carry you again if..."

"No" She hurriedly declined and I chuckled
