Adeline didn't leave maggies side. They were going to Hilltop, get her help. But the saviours were out there, her mother was out there. Adeline prayed she wasn't captured or hurt.
She held onto maggies hand, squeezing it as she used her free hand to put a cold towel on Maggies forhead.
But the RV came to a holt, making Adeline look over ricks shoulder and to the front. Rick got up and walked towards the front, Abraham stopping the RV. "What?" Rick asked as Adeline stayed by Maggie.
"Enemy close." Abraham told them as Adeline squeezed her eyes shut. They'd be okay, they'd be okay. She mumbled that multiple times in her head. They'd be okay. "We doing this?" Abraham asked Rick.
"No." He simply said as he walked towards the rv door, walking out. But Adeline stayed inside with Maggie, not wanting to leave her un attended incase anything happened.
Adeline blanked out any words as she focused on Maggie. After a while, they had all returned back into the rv. "What did they say?" Adeline asked Carl as he walked back in.
"Just talking shit." Carl simply said as Abraham started to drive the RV. "Trying to make a deal."
"These assholes won't stop until we're dead." Adeline mumbled as Carl shook his head.
"They won't get the chance to." He tilted his head as Adeline bit her tongue. She had always been a worrier. She was an anxious person. And with her mother out there, it was only making her stress even more.
