Jaycee had her arms crossed over her chest as she stared at Gregory. "No! No chance in hell!" He shook his head at their proposal. "That was not the deal. You people swore you could take the Saviours out, and you failed. So any arrangement we had is now done, null and void, all right?" He placed his hands on his hip. "We aren't trade partners, we aren't friends, and we never met. Hmm?"

"I'm sorry, but, we lost people we loved, doing your dirty work because you didn't have the balls to do it yourself." Jaycee challenged the man with a sharp glare.

"I didn't ask you to, Jaime." Gregory shrugged his shoulders as Jaycee scoffed at him, watching as he sat down in his seat. "I owe you nothing. In fact, you owe me for taking in the refugee's, at great personal risk."

"Oh, you were very brave staying in here while Maggie and Sasha saved this place." Jesus inputted, nodding his head at the two women.

"Like Jaycee said, doing your dirty work." Madelyn added from beside Jaycee, holding her head up high.

"Hey, don't you two work for me?" Gregory asked the pair as Madelyn lowered her head. "Aren't we friends?"

"Gregory, we already started this." Rick spoke this time walking towards the older man.

"You started it."

"We did." Rick told him, pointing at Gregory. "And we're gonna win."

"These are killers." Gregory pointed out, which was fair enough, they were.

"Is this how you want to live?" Rick asked him, tilting his head. "Under their thumb, killing your people?"

"Sometimes we don't get to choose what our life looks like. Sometimes, Ricky, you have to count the blessings you have." Gregory spoke to him, pointing his finger into his desk.

"How many people can we spare?" Maggie asked, leaning on a chair. "How man people here can fight?"

"We?" Gregory repeated, letting out a scoff. "I don't even know how many people we have, Margaret." Gregory said as Jaycee narrowed her eyes. "And does it even matter? I mean—what are you gonna do? Start a platoon of sorghum farmers? 'Cause that's what we got. They grow things. They're not gonna want to fight."
