Simon wanted to continue with Negans plan, go to Hilltop and warn them. But, hilltop had their own little warning from Jaycee, which made them ready.

Adeline held a gun in her hand, hiding behind the wall beside Rosita and Maggie. If she was going to have to kill someone, she would. So her fault could be safe.

On the outside of the walls, Jaycee held onto her jacket, getting out of the van after Dwight as Bellamy came to their side. "Well, here I was hoping to give that gate a big ol' wet, sloppy kiss, and there she goes, playing hard to get." Simon said, sarcastically as they stared at the walls. "Arat, Gary, remove these offending articles from the road. The sun is down. I'm tired of waiting." He told the pair, watching them move the logs with needles in them.

"Negan. I want to talk to Negan." Maggies voice came through the walkie talkie. Jaycee looked down at the walkie in Simon's hands.

Simon turned to walkie on, bringing it to his house. "Well, hello, there. You are speaking to Negan. But, my birth certificate says 'Simon.'" He said with a hint of humour in his voice. "With whom do I have the distinct displeasure of speaking?"

"Maggie." She said confidently, making Jaycee bite back a grin. "Maggie Rhee. The widow."

"Well, then. Hello again, Widow Rhee." Simon grinned as Jaycee narrowed her eyes, looking over at Simon. "And allow me to offer my condolences. For what's happened and what's about to happen. In case it's not already plain as Hilltop potatoes, you're truly is speaking on behalf of Negan this go 'round. And I assure you that the man himself personally received your care package next day delivery. I noticed it was the box that I gave you in good faith, tricks on me." He licked at his lips as he continued speaking.

"But the bill's come due, and you and your people are gonna have to pay." He continued, looking at the walls. "Quite dearly, I'm afraid."

"Your thirty eight people are alive and breathing. Turn around and leave us be, and they stay that way." Maggie told him as Simon's face hardened, slightly. "But if you don't, I have thirty eight bullets that I will personally fire into all thirty eight."

There was silence until a man spoke through the walkie. "It's too nice a night to spend it dying slow. Don't you think, Simon?" The man said as Jaycee turned to Simon, who didn't look pleased one bit.

"Hows this gonna go?" Maggie asks as Simon let out a deep breath.

"Well, Maggie Rhee, this is highly regrettable, but the way I see it, the Saviours you're in possession of there are damaged goods." He simply said as Jaycee raised a brow. These were his people. "They've got themselves into their own pickle, and this organisation prizes those who 'a', avoid capture and, 'b', figure out their own shit when said outcome eventuates. Which, in the end, is my way of saying screw them." Simon said as Jaycee shared a shirt look with Dwight.
