Jaycee had kept Judith in her arms ever since negan found the young child. Maybe he wouldn't hurt a baby? But who knows?

But him and Carl were upstairs as Jaycee and Adeline were downstairs. Jaycee softly played with Judith, making the baby abrupt in giggles.

"Aint that just adorable!" Jaycee rolled her eyes as she looked over her shoulder, looking at negan, who had just shaved his beard. "What? You likey?" He rubbed his chin.

Jaycee tilted her head, letting out a tut. "Nah, beard was better." She shrugged her shoulders, turning back to Judith to tickle the girls cheeks.

"Damn, I'll remember that for next time." Negan smirked as he looked over his shoulder, looking at Carl, then to the three girls. "Any of you hungry?"

They had all refused but he didn't listen, he ended up in the kitchen making spaghetti for them all.

But Jaycee chose to ignore negan, doing her own thing with the kids. She let Carl and Judith make the bread rolls, Judith just putting her hand prints in it.

Jaycee softly chuckled at Judith, rolling the dough. "Mom." Jaycee turned to Adeline, who held flour in her hands. "Remember lion king?"

"Yeah, why?" Jaycee frowned as Adeline shared a grin with Carl, quickly pulling her finger against Jaycee's forehead.

Jaycee titled her head as she looked at her daughter, who was holding in a laugh. "I would throw the flour on your head, but because it's not our house, you're lucky." Jaycee narrowed her eyes sarcastically.

"Damn, that smells good." Negan spoke from behind the four, mixing the sauce in the pan. He took a bite out of the sauce, letting out a hum. He turned to the group, holding out the spoon for Jaycee, who frowned. "Want a taste?" He asked her as he grinned.

"You poisoned it?" Jaycee raised her brows as she picked up Judith, walking towards the draw to pull out her own spoon, dipping it into the sauce and eating a bit of it. It was good. But would she tell him that? Hell no.

"Why would I poison a good meal?" Negan asked her as Jaycee shrugged, feeding Judith some of the sauce.

"Well, we both know what you're capable of." Jaycee tilted her head as she looked up at him, but negan just grinned.
