Warning --
You and Angel had spent the night at a new bar, shooting shots and sharing laughter until it felt like your sides might split. At one point, Angel laughed so hard that alcohol sprayed out of his nose, setting off another round of hysterics from both of you. Tears streamed down your face as you laughed uncontrollably, the joy of the moment consuming you completely.
Eventually, the night came to an end, and you stumbled home with Angel's help. He carefully carried you to your room, where you promptly collapsed onto your bed and slept the night away.
However, the next morning brought no romantic awakening or newfound sense of bliss. Instead, you awoke to a pounding headache that rivaled the worst hangover you'd ever experienced, even worse than that one infamous weekend spent with Bee on her private island. Groaning, you weakly pushed yourself off the bed with trembling arms, muttering curses under your breath.
Dragging yourself to the bathroom, you took lazy steps in front of the mirror, hoping to find some solace in your reflection. But as you stared at yourself, you froze. Turning to examine your reflection from different angles, you couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
Your hair was a tangled mess, your skin looked sickly pale, and your eyes had an odd, reddish hue to them. Wincing at your own reflection, you ran a hand through your unruly hair, only managing to make the mess even worse. It was a far cry from the picture of perfection you usually tried to present to the world. As a sudden bolt of searing pain erupted through your body, you stumbled towards the toilet, barely making it in time before the sickness violently expelled itself from your body. Gripping the sides of the toilet, you groaned in agony, the pain coursing through you with an intensity you hadn't felt in ages. Once the ordeal was over, you released the porcelain and sank back against the wall, feeling utterly drained.
You couldn't believe you had partied so hard that it had resulted in this level of physical distress. Your head spun dizzily on your shoulders, and you reached up to steady your thoughts, muttering curses under your breath.
"Fuck, fuck, ffffuck..." you whispered, your voice barely above a hoarse rasp. Closing your eyes tightly, you felt as if all the air had been sucked out of your lungs, leaving you gasping for breath.
Suddenly, a loud bang outside reverberated through the entire hotel, shaking it to its core. With a groan, you shoved your head between your legs, seeking refuge from the chaos and pain swirling around you.
Reverberate through the empty room. Lifting your head, you shot a glare at the vacant space around you, a soft growl escaping your lips in frustration. With a determined resolve, you pushed yourself up, only to be met with another sharp wave of pain that sent you reeling, forcing you to clutch your head to steady yourself.
After a moment of regaining your composure, you hurriedly exited the bathroom, still clad in the same clothes from the previous night. You rushed to the lobby, where a new source of light pierced through the dimness, originating from a gaping hole in the wall next to the bar. The doors to the hotel were open and you saw Charlie, Angel, And Alastor all staring up at the sky.
You let out soft grumbles before walking to the door and using the framing to hold yourself up. From this view, you could see a slightly familiar air contraption being mangled by alastors Ink colored tentacles.
A man inside was banging violently against the wall and you couldn't help but chuckle a bit. Alastor was laughing hysterically as his powers dragged the ship around.
"AH! Please! Ssstop!!" You stepped out next to angel who looked at you and had to take a a double take "Holy shit, You don't look so good babes...you alright?" You gave him a tired smile "Yup...All good"
"Um...Alastor! I think he's had enough" Charlie says with her voice full of concern. You look up and see he was still bashing against the flying machines walls "Nah. He's got a few more hits in him." Angel said cutting in. The poor snake man you recognized from a couple weeks ago now dangled from the smashed window of the machine. After a moment his fingers slipped and he face planted into the concrete. You winced and took a step closest to see if the poor man was still breathing. After a second his chest rises and you step back to Angel.
"Thanks for another forgettable experience!" Alastor said starring down at Sir Pentious who peeled his face from the walkway and said in a very groggy tone "Thank you... for letting your guard down!" You blink mindlessly as the snakes grabs a part of Alastors coat and tears it off.
You wince again at the action knowing this wasn't going to go good for him. Alastors screeching Windigo sound filled the air and thats when you knew he truly fucked up.
Sir pentious was sent flying through the air and out of sight like a small bug. "Well, it looks as though I need a visit to the tailor! Best of luck, chums" You look at his torn coat and nod when all of a sudden Charlie stops him.
"Wait, you're leaving?! Alastor! We need your help! We need you to do your job"
Angel nods and points at the newly added hole in the hotel "We need a wall" You step close to Charlie and rest a hand on her shoulder. When she turns to look at you, you can see her expression change as she sees you "I'll get it done Charlie. It'll be quicker if I do it anyway" Charlie gives you a nervous smile and nods.
"There we are! All settled" Alastor sets off and Charlie turned her body to look at you "Auntie are you okay?" You smile and nod "Long night Charlie, that's all" She nods wearily and steps back into the hotel.Angel comes up to you "You don't look so good babes, did someone slip you something last night?" You chuckle "Angel really, I'm fine. Just partied way to dame hard" Angel nodded and gave you a sympathetic smile.
You both headed inside and you made a beeline towards the hole in the wall. Resting your hands on the wall and muttering a simple "Fix" and it slowly started fixing itself.
