You rose from your bed, the disheveled state of your hair and the imprints of the pillow etched into your skin serving as evidence of a restless night. With a groan, you shuffled towards the bathroom, the familiar sight greeting you in the mirror.

Your mesmerizing eyes, a captivating shade of e/c, paired with your h/c hair and the pristine white feathers of your wings, unfurled and preened themselves with a few vigorous shakes, regaining their impeccable angelic form.

After donning a robe, you stepped out onto your balcony, the cool breeze of Heaven greeting you as you spread your wings and took flight with a graceful flap. Despite the tranquility of the celestial realm, there was a sense of ennui that lingered in the air. It had been centuries since the creation of the first humans, and while Heaven had delighted in watching their evolution, your interest in mortals had waned ever since Lucifer was taken from you.

You still couldn't fathom how he could be reunited with you in Heaven, despite numerous failed attempts to save him. Each endeavor to rescue your best friend had ended in heartbreak, leaving you to grapple with the painful realization that nothing could bring him back.

You twisted and turned through the sky, reveling in the freedom of flight and basking in the radiant beauty of the sun. But soon, the monotony of the celestial realm began to wear on you, and a sense of ennui settled in.

As you lounged on a cloud, a deep sigh escaping your lips, you couldn't help but lament the absence of Lucifer. With him by your side, you would have undoubtedly found a way to stir up trouble and alleviate your boredom. Closing your eyes, you allowed yourself to drift into memories of happier times, only to be jolted back to reality by the sudden ringing in your mind.

Opening your eyes, you spotted a small golden orb floating above you, bearing Sera's name within. With a mixture of curiosity and apprehension, you reached out and grasped the orb, your thumb tracing its surface as you whispered Sera's name softly.

"Y/n! I need you at the gates immediately!" Sera's voice rang out, urgency lacing her words. Startled, you quickly glanced down at the heavenly city below before tossing the orb behind you and springing into action. Twisting out of the cloud, you dove towards the gates of Heaven with determination.

Upon arrival, you found a group of angels gathered around the gates, their expressions tense and expectant. Landing gracefully in front of Sera, you sought answers to the urgency of the situation. "Has something happened?" you inquired, a hint of concern creeping into your voice.

Sera wasted no time in pulling you close, her urgency visable as she whispered in your ear. "Adam is dying, y/n. We're here to welcome the first human soul." The weight of her words settled heavily upon you, and you couldn't help but slump slightly at the news, a mix of emotions coursing through you.

Before long, a golden essence swirled into existence, forming a whirlwind upon the shimmering surface of the golden bridge. Mesmerized, you watched as the swirling energy obscured its contents, creating an air of anticipation. Then, with a flourish, the whirlwind dissipated, revealing a figure hidden within.

You tilted your head in curiosity, observing the newly revealed human with a mixture of fascination and intrigue. In truth, you had never encountered a human before. Your absence during their creation left you with only snippets of information gleaned from Lucifer's rants, particularly his mention of a female named Lilith.

As the human form stood before you, you couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at this unfamiliar presence in the realm of Heaven.
