I looked at every store I could find, but no one had it. I was starting to get frustrated and mad at my friend for playing a prank.
A couple days ago we were having a hangout playing romance games when she brought it up.
"Sarah, you are probably the best person I ever met at playing Romance Games! You always win so easily!" She exclaimed.
I smiled shyly, "Thanks Arlee."
"I heard a rumor that there is a romance game that no one has been able to beat," Gabby whispered.
I looked up, I always loved finding a challenge in games. "Really? Where can I find it?"
"It's at some store downtown apparently. The game has a Hidden Level that you can play once you beat all the other relationships. It's super difficult though, and no one has ever won," She replied.
I remember thinking right after she said that, that it would be the best accomplishment for me. Being able to be the one to beat this game will make me the best romance gamer.
So why can't I find it?!
After walking around for an hour I sat at the nearest bench, exhausted from this silly trip.
"What's gotten you all down, Miss?"
I looked up to see that the voice came from a young man dressed in a suit, with red eyes and black hair. For some reason, I felt a small chill on my back when I saw him.
"I've just been trying to look for something. I can't find it though," I sighed.
The man looked around before bringing his gaze back to me. He looked so handsome and unreal.
"It is a game perhaps?"
I shot my eyes back up at him in shock. How did he know it was a game?
"Yes, it is actually. Do you know where it is?" I asked excitedly.
He smiled at me before reaching his hand into his coat pocket. Suddenly in front of me was a romance game. The front of it showed a Beautiful woman with blonde hair and a Handsome man with blonde hair. The title said The Game Of Love.
I was confused that he had it, but it didn't matter. I found what I was looking for and could finally be the best of the best. I tried to reach for it, but he moved his hand up high, away from me.
"I have to warn you though. The Hidden Level is extremely difficult. It could cause many problems," he warned.
I thought about how playing a long time could give me a headache or hard to see for a while after damaging my eyes. "You mean like side-effects?"
"Sure." He smiled. I had bad vibes from this man, but I wanted the game. I was even more curious about the Hidden Level now.
"I heed your warning, can I have it now?"
He shrugged and gently put the game in my hand. The game looked like any other game, but it felt different.
"Have fun."
"I will than-," I started before I realized he was gone.
