After spending 3 days of playing the game, I realized it was just as corny and one sided as the others. Even though you can have the female lead, Seraphina, fall in love with anyone, it mostly wants you to choose the crown prince.
The game starts by explaining Seraphina's hometown and life. She lives in a world called Eden that is split into four parts. The North, where monsters roam and the Duke resides. The East, the land of dragons. The West, the safest area. They call the West the capital of their world since it is protected with magic and is the home to the king and queen. Lastly, the South. There is not much information about the South in the game so I don't know enough to explain it.
Seraphina's family lives in the west. Her father is Lord Zaru, one of the most powerful witch families that still lives. Their job is to keep the west protected with magic by all costs and in return they have a healthy relationship with the king and queen. The game doesn't show her father and mother a lot, but I do know they have the same looks as Seraphina.
Before you meet the crown prince or any of the others, the story begins with her family mourning the loss of her younger sister Penelope. There isn't must said about her, only that she dies of an illness at the age of sixteen. Her death is the beginning of the game.
She meets the Crown Prince a few days later when he comes with his father for a visit, and he immediately decides he wants her as his wife. Seraphina is scared at first and it isn't until later in the game she comes to love the Crown Prince.
The only thing that is the same depending on who she chooses in the end, is the war. Darius and Sebastion both fall for Seraphina and decide to have a war to win her heart. If you choose Darius, he kills his brother and you have a happily ever after. If you choose Sebastion, the crown prince still kills his brother and you are forced to be a fake wife to your husband while he has multiple mistressss, since you failed to get him to fall in love with you.
How to win Markus is by having an affair while married to the crown prince. How to win Elliot is by betraying the Crown Prince and helping the butler start a rebellion.
During all this you have to make sure not to die by the villian Caroline. No matter who you fall for, she despises you and wants you dead. The only reason you stay alive is the one you love protecting you and Seraphina's best friend Diana.
The last relationship I completed was the butler, when suddenly the screen became dark and sent me back to the main menu. On the screen was a new choice.
Hidden Level
I felt both chills and excitement. This is the moment where I can tell everyone that I am the best romance gamer, I might evem get famous and rich. I clicked the screen and suddenly I couldn't see as I began falling.
Then everything went dark.
