⊰᯽⊱Kale had pretty much calmed down from the almost fall for the second time in almost as many hours. His face still throbbed, but the tears had stopped. Crying won't help him now. Nothing will. He was trapped on this small ledge, a ledge his feet hardly fit onto, with no real hope of making it off this rock alive. He was going to die here, on this horrible rock or the dark forest below, close to the damn near invisible town. The tears threatened to pour again as his head spun and he grew weaker.

"Kay, look at me," Orem gently gripped his love's chin and raised his face to his. Their lips touched tenderly for a second before Orem used his thumb to wipe away slowly, drying tears. The left side of his face was caked with half dried blood, from his forehead to his chin. Fresh blood was still oozing from the open wound, which was a very dangerous combination with the severity of Kale's concussion and the fact they were almost a thousand feet in the air.

"Jesus, Kay....I'm so sorry. Look at your beautiful face..." his voice trailed off as a deep sadness overwhelmed him. What had he done?

Orem knew he needed to get Kale off this damn rock quickly. The sun was dropping lower with each passing minute. They were running out of time. The darkness was going to be one problem to many. It would be hard enough for Orem to climb in the pitch black, but there was no way Kale would be able to, even if he wasn't injured. Not being able to see where to grab next was a death sentence.

Kale's face was swelling so badly that Orem feared his skin would literally pop open. His left eye lid was bulging out at least double its normal size. Orem was scared Kale would go permanently blind from the pressure being forced on his eyeball and the nerves inside. If he survived, that is. The way he was bleeding was also worrisome. Kale wasn't fully conscious most of the time as he stood there. He seemed dazed and confused as his legs wobbled like jello. He wasn't going to be able to stand there much longer.

Orem took a deep breath to gain the courage he knew he was going to need to say what he was thinking. He had no other choice. Orem caressed Kale's pale cheek to bide some time. He could see the fear in his boyfriend's eye, fear of him, and it broke his heart. He did this on purpose, he wanted to hurt Kale for being a disrespectful bitch. For thinking about stepping out on him. But he didn't really want to hurt him, not like this. Did he?

"𝔓𝔲𝔰𝔰𝔰𝔥 𝔥𝔦𝔪 𝔬𝔣𝔣𝔣𝔣. 𝔉𝔦𝔫𝔦𝔰𝔥𝔥𝔥 𝔥𝔦𝔪𝔪𝔪. ℌ𝔢 𝔥𝔞𝔱𝔢𝔰𝔰𝔰 𝔶𝔬𝔲. ℌ𝔢'𝔩𝔩 𝔨𝔦𝔩𝔩𝔩 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔣 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔡𝔬𝔫'𝔱.”

Orem pushed the voice away, trying hard to ignore it. He didn't want to listen to what it said or feel the anger it always brought him. It was harder than he would have thought to not give into the rage. The anger felt good, it felt right.

"Kay, I have no choice here. You can't climb like this, you'll definitely fall. I can't carry you up. I'm strong, but not that strong." Orem kept his voice soft but firm. He couldn't allow any arguments about this. There was no other way.

Before Orem could say anything else, Kale screamed out, "No!" The rest of his words come out in a panicked rush, "You can't leave me! Don't do this! Please! Don't leave me! I'm sorry! I'm sorry I upset you! I'm sorry, I won't ever talk to anyone again! Please, Ore! Please don't leave me! I know I messed up! I wont again! Please! I’ll never make you mad again! I'm sorry!" His tears finally broke free again and ran in rivlets down his cheeks, making small trails through the blood. His body trembled even harder as his head cleared enough to know he didn't want to die alone. He grabbed Orems shirt with his right hand as he pleaded with him.
